MOJO was the name of the SAM's CHIUAUA(the pet dog) in Transformer series...

Mahindra could have done better with the name atleast...Anyways high hopes on the bikes atleast from performance front...looks dont really matter much(to me)...fingers,legs et all crossed
...Back to HIBERNATE mode...

hmmmmmm

If there's anything to learn from the pulsar story its that 'jo dikhta hai wo bikta hai'... here's hoping the bike looks different than the released pics in the thread
(i personally thought the p220 version1 looked pathetic going by the pics and it does look so much more beautiful in the flesh.. hoping its the same case here)
but kudos to m2w for thinking beyond the limits to which the other indian manufacturers think.
and for a 300cc mill, i think it is decent if they want to get this thing more torque than top end

I seriously don't understand as why we are like this?
I remember that almost everytime, there was a big launch, first we raise the expectations just by speculating anything which comes to our mind, and then once the actual bike is launched, we start bashing it and saying all possible negative things as possible for first few days.
And then after few days or months, we start giving examples as how good or great the product is.
People kindly wait till you all see the bike in Flesh and get the first ride report.
The design of the bike is completly diffrent than what we are used to see on Indian Roads.
For me it's a good overall package, and if priced right then i won't be surprised if few months down the line i see many people from xBhp going in for this Bike.

... eagerly waiting to see it in flesh... im sure it would be a head turner.... but yeh definitely didn't expect a single cylinder

Congrats to MAHINDRA to VENTURE INTO THIS SEGMENT and a huge Thank you.
except for certain areas of the bike im pretty happy with the looks...esp the rear-side on.and i believe it will look better in flesh..and the specs look really good too. but seems like Mahindra is going to give HH A serious competition with its gay name! :P seriously i dint thinkthings could get worse than "HUNK","Glamor"....i mean imagine telling "hey ive got a Mojo" :O only thing ppl will think is abt Austin Powers and his Mojo!
btw like i had suspected the site wasn't supposed to be up and running hence all those spelling mistakes....they have blocked it now!Last edited by RanjithMN; 09-30-2010, 08:02 AM.Smoke rubber, not tobacco.

Well to me most of the bike looks like a boy's wet dream of getting his bike modded -
- Big Petal disc up front with Radial Calipers (even though the rear disc is non-petal),
- Big Fat USD forks (well would be able to comment how good their feedback is after test riding it),
- Bigger Section tires (more than the Ninja (or should I call it the Ninji in this thread!!
))
- 1x2 exhaust system!! Not sure how does it help in the overall performance because I haven't seen such an exhaust config till date, but in my personal opinion, an under slung exhaust system would have done wonders on this... and would have looked much better.
The engine pounding out 25.8 bhp of peak power is definitely good work by M&M in the first go, but given the stage and platform they had for this bike, I would say, that they could have done much better than this and they left the engine under utilized. Just think of it, a 10 year old technology on the Ninja, which is of 50 cc lesser capacity, produces around 7bhp more!! You can't expect more from a 250cc motor. I would have been much happier with the engine if it was somewhere in the lines of the Ninja with it's power output.
But never the less, 25.8bhp is a very good number for Indian roads, and the bike looks light weight too (well I don't remember the kerb weight figure of the bike when I saw the specs last night). Eagerly waiting for the performance numbers and feedback to come online

+1 - this is not new in xBhp,we always criticize- more is never enough for us - Lets at least appreciate for the initiative they have taken.Originally posted by riazmomin View PostLOL at WE xbhpians...
There were many such bikes cursed for looks just looking at the pictures...!
Come on guys...WE cribbed for a INDIAN manufacturer to come up with a bike for us...and once we find a bike near to those expectations....we thrash it out up and down with some really funny comments..just looking at the pics!
I would preserve my comments until I see the bike in flesh!
And my applause to Mahindra for daring something where many so called Indian and Japanese manufacturers were hesitant.
As said already, you expect too much and when you don't get it...you throw rotten tomatoes at the maker! well we have got lots of critics here doing the job!
Bike looks great on paper and does aptly suit for many tourers here! and occasional tourers like me. Only thing to check here is The service back up by Mahindra!
Good job, Mahindra!
Alteast one thing good we did for Mahindra is tested their site and found all the bugs
Now all the site developers will be busy in fixing it
A better/bigger tank design would have made the bike look great. I like the rear part though. Will wait for a First Impression from xBhp itself.

Malguti
Went through their website and the history of their products ...
Www.malaguti.com - GP 125
- They are Italian
- They did have a Moto125 team in 2006 which means they have racing pedigree in them.
- They have had a history of cafe racers from which the concept 250 pic shown on Xbhp was inspired.
- they are basically into MotoScooters upto 500cc all liquid cooled etc etc and some small mototards (50cc
) - They are associated with the Ducati Corse team ... You see those scooters carrying riders around if they have some mechanical problem or to go from one end of the stadium to another... Yes those are from Malaguti
( on the funnier side )
All jokes apart,
Now this is what Malaguti has( Tested in Italy part ) ,Now what all made it into the MOJO(Coming to India) can only be said once it is released and technically I feel it will be competent enough to give P220F/R15/ZMR a run for the money if priced right....
The day is here so gotta wait few more hourstour-master on exile
