  • From the pics the bike has a cruiser like stance.looks like a Ducati monster gone horribly wrong. the pegs are way forward. and what's that with that tank with pointed edges to the sides, how's one supposed to hug that tank with the knee while riding? guess what !! i feel they made a supercar run over that tank maybe the reason for that edgy tank design -yeah definitely from- " THE SOLE OF SUPERCAR " .

and dont know why 2 silencer from a single cylinder, what are they trying to achieve??

when they have already placed indicators on the mirror than why an extra set of indicators below the headlight??? in hindsight i think the mirror will look good on my P220.

though the specs are good but i feel the description part was very amateurish . its like they picked up one of the salesman from their showroom to do the description part. if this is how the company describes the specs then i cant imagine the description at the showroom need to buy some good quality ear plug if i ever decide to venture into the Mahindra showroom.wouldnt be surprised if i hear that this bike is better than honda city and costs only 1/5th of the price of a CITY. and that suzuki swift doesnt even stand a chance.pretty dumb

finally would like to see how it handles in corners.from the looks of it i feel the stress was more on looks and less on ergonomics and functionality.

However i hope the bike proves me wrong.

    • Guys I think we need chill down

None of us have seen the bike in flesh till now. Lets go by the pictures just yet.

It might look like dragonfly with a eye popping disorder, but it might sting like a bee with its performance. A 300cc single is bound to produce wheelie popping torque provided M&M have done a good engineering job.

Lets wait and watch till the real world figures are out....

      • Good heavens, does this have to happen every time? Each major launch is followed by everyone going gaga on xbhp and losing sight of the bigger picture. Relax guys, spelling mistakes on the website do not make this a bad bike !

I like the specs, definitely not run of the mill. Thumbs up to Mahindra for boldly going where no other bike maker has gone before. After sales service would matter a lot. Hope they are rewarded for their investment & risk by sustained sales. More importantly other bike makers need to take a leaf out of their book. Win win for us.

Thumbs in the middle to the styling. If you look at it from the side, you can split the pic into two right down the middle and you are left with the front and rear of 2 very good looking bikes. Its just that they dont look together. But once they are on the road its going to be a different story. Will grab eyeballs for its novelty and price.

Nice to see all these price figures being bandied about by all and sundry. Lets all be realistic, shall we ?

Oh and the web designer & the guy from Mahindra responsible for the website (Im assuming they would have had someone for something this big) deserve the royal xbhp treatment. How about the Lets take care of the M&M website guy G2G ?

There were many such bikes cursed for looks just looking at the pictures...!

Come on guys...WE cribbed for a INDIAN manufacturer to come up with a bike for us...and once we find a bike near to those expectations....we thrash it out up and down with some really funny comments..just looking at the pics!

I would preserve my comments until I see the bike in flesh!
And my applause to Mahindra for daring something where many so called Indian and Japanese manufacturers were hesitant.

As said already, you expect too much and when you don't get it...you throw rotten tomatoes at the maker! well we have got lots of critics here doing the job!

Bike looks great on paper and does aptly suit for many tourers here! and occasional tourers like me. Only thing to check here is The service back up by Mahindra!

          Good job, Mahindra!
          +1000
Kudos to Mahindra for their debut in Motor biking with something like this which we were praying for since a very long time...
They have indeed taken a step which the established Indian manufacturers have not yet done !

Will have to see the bike in Flesh to comment on the looks...

And for those who have already made up their mind that the bike looks FUGLY and removed them from their wishlist.. Lets hope that other Indian manufacturers/distributors follow the footsteps of Mahindra

            Looks..?? Err.. well..

Specs?? Looks decent on paper. But why 2 exhausts for a single cylinder?

If you ask me... any channel to a customer (that too in your first (premium) offering) HAS to be proof read before being made open to public.

At the end it could boil down to this.
If they didnt even bother to be diligent about the site, its scary to even guess how diligent would they be towards their product!!!

To look good - Heck we bought a design company remember!
One of them is an intake, and the other is the exhaust - You see... natures rule!
Its a locker to hold nifty things...

The second one is for the tool kit.

and also they've have kept in mind that if the owner wants to install an HID kit he'll need extra space for the two ballasts.

Agreed: That looks out of place - Single cylider & 2 exhausts

                        • not my kinda bike..even though the specs are good,i dont like the looks,it should have been a newer sporty ful fairing bike much like the zmr r 15 ninja...was thinking of buying it,but will stick to my karizma r and wait for the honda 250 cc which is due for launch during diwali, hope honda doesnt screw up the looks of their bikes( p.s. no offence to Mahindra.my taste is different.Im sure many people have liked the bike,)
