even if it is not well made its worth enuff to be kept in the main hall next to the showpiece,...

Ofcourse the Buzz is needed, Well Mahindra all did till now was to release two teaser videos! rest all was speculations by 3rd parties and the viral marketing to its full effect which helped Mahindra to spread information about its bike(s).

+1 on specs..they are decent enough and as expected.

I wonder where has CEVALO has gone..! It would have been good launch for Mahindra and tough competetion for our desi 150cc bikes.

      • I would be very rude if I start calling names to Mojo- bOjo. I would be more mean if I talk about heaven and earth without seeing the bike in flesh.

I am glad that M&M have dared to venture into an already-competitive Two wheeler segment and have dared to serve a bike that definitely is not a run-from-the-mill types.

The design may be sweet to some and sour to many, like it happens each time with us. Maruti Suzuki 1000, Zen, Swift etc. were all boldly criticized initially by a lot of us, later they all were a drool car.

Pricing- and performance (in terms of Reliability and Serviceability) should be a concern.

Let's not forget, few of the actors in the film industry are legends, despite the fact that they are less than average looking people, good looking models at times fail to impress.

Brains over beauty- should be the Mantra--- Oops, am talking too filmy.

Lets see the bike in flesh, lets get a test ride, lets have the first impression, lets have the Owner's Experience before we give any star rating to the bike or to the manufacturer. Further, I still am impressed that M&M have given us a 200+ cc bike, they could have delivered a Passion/Glamor/Splendor look alike with identical specs.

All cheers to M&M (despite today being a Shraad day)

              • The GT250 tank... looks nice on that chassis... i doubt if it could be used as well in real life though doing so would benefit a lot of old KiHo 'premium and neglected' customers too! (if its a striaghtfit!)

                      • vertical headlight and a bigger tank will do wonders for this product....

anyways called up mahindra showrooms just now and all were saying that the 300cc will take 2 to 3 months to come in showrooms but the 110 or 125 cc will be out in next month and that they are taking bookings for it

                        • This bike with the GT250 tank is a looker. Wish M2W launches it in this form! And what's up with all those golden coloured frame bits? Wish black is an option atleast.
Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

IThe reason most people did not like the design is that Retro-Classic look is not in anymore.
Not In India atleast, Bikes like thurxton are all doing great in US and UK and also has great looks which is a cafe racer with clip-ons and what not ....

Simple round, Vertically stacked, Or something like ducati monster with a small fairing might give it better looks

Nice mod ... Mahindra should have a serious look on the pic as it would have made things a lot better and conventional ( safer side ) but as of now lets wait and watch for the bike on road

just cant imagine the looks after putting Indian regulation for front number plate, SAREE guard...

eek..how it has spoiled the front looks of FZ16 and R15..
                              got bhp?? oh yeah..its Xbhp

                              • I agree with what DCS said as if mahindra is giving us something bigger and better which our home grown and other outside manufacturers are failed to do, then we should accept it as its a welcome change for me as i have seen after the release of R15 there was no other bike which came with a bang and it was all speculations talking for 3 years. the ZMR was just a copy and paste of the karizma-r, the RTR 180 was really not a big game change from the 160. The 220 was again the copy and paste with a few tweaks of the oldie 220.

R15 had bought a revolution in performance segment, now mahindra has also bought a revolution by breaking the barrier of 225 cc arena which was dominated by HH and pulsars, it only depends on which segment it will fit more.

The only thing to watch out will be the pricing as that will define the competition, i think the retro look of the bike is done to serve some kind of purpose which we can know after the test ride reports.
