  • I am expecting the cost around 2 lakhs for the 250R and the 150 around 1.2 to compete with the R15, as the top speed of cbr150 is 160 which is close to ninjas territory, so if the speed figures are true and if 250 is more tuned than we may see the CBR 250 seeing the ninja in RVM

Yaar... Honda has indicated to Indian journos that it is bringing the 250 at around 1.5L, then why do you wish/expect it to come costlier?

And if they do stick to their killer strategy... Then it doesn't make sense to bring in the 150 (since it will cannibalize the sales of the 250)...

But since they are trying to get the pricing of the 250 as close to that price band as possible, I guess the 150 would not make sense here.
I feel that CBR150R is more of a track tool like R15 whereas CBR250R to be sports tourer competing against the karizmas n co ... so why dont they release two completely different machines with a 50K difference in price

            • When will the official price figures be announced?
They make us wait too long....

              • If they launch the bike in India @ a price tag of somwhere around 80k to 1Lac (predicting the price based on the expected price of the 250R), then R15, Karizma ZMA&ZMR and Pulsar 220 will be in trouble for sure.. Atleast this bike can affect in their Sales figures (for sure).

But no use of such predictions as there is no official news or rumour on launching the bike in India.

Wouldn't it be great if Honda India brings all the 3 CBR's India (125/150/250)

                        Spec:
The Honda engine is a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled 124.7cc single-cylinder and is mounted in a twin spar chassis. The CBR125R produces 12.75 hp at 10,000 rpm to drive its 301-pound dry weight via a 6-speed gearbox fitted with a mechanically-actuated clutch.
