IMO Honda will definitely launch the 150cc CBR,When yamaha was launching the R15,little did we know that it was a direct threat to the hh karizma,even though it was launched at the price of rs 1 lakh plus.we were all hoping for a 250 cc from yamaha.but the R 15 surprised many with its performance matching with the likes of P220 and zma,Cbr 150 will fit perfectly within r15 zma zmr and p220 price range.and i really hope they launch the 250 cbr as well,though there wont be as many takers for the 250cc cause of the high price range,it will still be a treat to c it on indian roads

actually indian customers are not as stupid as we all think them to be!
they always go after quality,or else fazer and stunner would have flopped! they are as expensive as pulsar 180 but they still sell. owning a 180 i still reccomend a stunner who wants a smaller bike.

But I feel she's too big to be a 150, maybe a 250cc mill.

It needn't be as big and bad as the Honda cbr 250 of the nineties, inline 4, producing 40bhp literally a monster. To me ... a twin cylinder, air cooled bike producing around 30 Bhp which gives around 25kpl mileage and is priced under 2 lakhs will be a big success.It's what people who cannot afford a ninja and are not happy with the karizmas, p220s and R15 have been waiting for. In real terms a bike like that will put the ninja 250 and the R15 out of business!

to keep the final pricetag as close to the R15 as possible.

also... please keep in mind... a 250cc will deliver better mileage than 300cc period.

Honda has more and bigger plants in US, to want to make it in India and sell it there... (how big is the 250CC market in US as compared to Asia?)

The answer to the last line: Simple, higher margin on the cheap to produce single cylinder 250..

exactly my point. they have a weak sales department as of now. waiting period for unicorn is 9 months now in my town. so what the customers are doing now is that they are resorting to other 150cc's which are easily available(like pulsar which has literally no wait period). the waiting period for unicorn is getting higher day by day. so what they need to focus on now is to keep up with the customers demand. otherwise they will end up like royal enfield after the launch of their 750 interceptor.

I cant explain how much i wish i had a 6 digit salary figure

.. I could get these on the first day of their launch

which is guess in the next century

if cb 300r or cb 250r comes to india i will definately buy this bike because i just love this bike...
it looks hot happening and sexy...
but lets be logical...
i think honda is selling cb 300r in brazil for 2 lac+(acc. to indian currency) so is it possible to trim down its price below 1.2 lacs......?????????

Six digit salary and you would get a 250 cc bike

I have 5 digit salary. the lower side at that

. That's why I never bother, let alone get excited when they launch those 1000cc+ bikes. Six digits.....mmm...the effect will be reversed

But for now, let me drool some more at those 250s. Hell, even the 150s
