      actually middle class has enough disposable money and aspirations to buy bike like ninja too,always felt honda showroom guys were arrogant[don't know why],although the sales-person i met yesterday[very much elderly by age] was polite enough to answer my every question.my best showroom experience has always been bajaj,worst is hmc.
      and the question remains why do i race?

        In some countries honda is selling cbr 150r with class leading 19 bhp power and 17 nm torque....dont know they will launch it with these power figures in india or not...

          we are expecting a detuned version with peak power of 18Bhp @ 10500 Rpm and peak torque of 12.6 Nm @ 7500 Rpm
          and the question remains why do i race?

            fz 16 which is not in league of r-15 and baby cbr is having better torque figures(14nm)....
            i think 12.6 nm is very less for such an advanced machine....

              sure it is low,riding in traffic will be a problem,but top-end will be more than r15.

                yeah low torque will mean you have to twist more throttle for going fast..

                        Even the cb unicorn dazzler produces higher torque 1.3 kg-m = 12.748645 Nm. Lower torque figures wont work with the tyre profile cbr150 has (F:100/80-17 - R:130/70-17 mm)

                          I think there is something wrong with the torque numbers that is spoken abt here. It is close to 17 Nm as per other resources.

                          Reg the drop in bhp for both CBR150R/CBR250R, i think it is because of the strict emission norms in india than to do with the Mileage hungry crowd.

                          Why would Honda drop the performance of CBR150R if they are bothered abt mileage. They have 2 supporting products in 150cc. Unicorn & Dazzler.

                              Perhaps the same guy forgot Honda also has(soon to be HAD) Stunner, Unicorn, Dazzler etc?
