CBR150 PRICING (EX-Showroom Dehli)
STANDARD MODEL : 1,16,XXX
DELUXE MODEL : 1,17,XXX (They said deluxe model is with ABS
I am sure their c-abs won't come in that cheap, then the std won't sell, I am sure its a sticker job.
O.T. If they price it at 1,17,xxx, and if duke sticks to their current pricing, honda is in for tough competition.
OT I hope bajaj postpones thier price hike plans for some time now!
ye! now I can deliberate a bit longer till post budget about cbr150 and duke .
after the warranty period joel big bore for 150 might look very interesting.
think of it as 2 different bikes in 2 years , nice!!

• 1.3 lacs seems to be a little on the higher side, another 30 k and you can very well have the bigger cousin.

At what price R15 V2.0 retails?

• In that case R15 will surely have an upper hand, its sharper looking, retails at lower price.

I am also sure Deluxe wont be with ABS, its only the paint scheme. As Sudhir said (below) standard has similar scheme as CBR250 and deluxe has the white orange and i think second one is red-black (not sure)

If you are multiquoting, u need to click on the "+ icon of the first person's message, then the second message and on the last message u need to click on quote icon. Hope it helps.

I got similar info that prices will be around 1.3 OTR.

If this is the pricing it makes sense to buy a 200 CC bike (read duke) for the same price with loads of torque and low end.

Price of R15 V2.0 is 1,07,000 ex-showroom New delhi.

Plus the quality/fit and finish on the R15 V2.0 is top notch.. much better the the CBR250R.

• I haven't gone thorough the spec sheet of CBR150R but how it compares to R15 V2.0 in terms of power output, specifications and all. It should bring something substantial to the plate for the extra money.

PS: 150R will kill the exclusivity factor of the 250 to a certain extent as it's too similar looking to its bigger cousin.

@Payneg: Yes, very valid point, if the fit-finish of the CBR250R is anything to go by R15 V2.0 will be having a clear upper hand on this front too.

• If that's the final pricing,it makes sense to invest a wee bit more and buy the 250 or look at the competiton. Also, like bandhav said, the 250s exclusivity will take a major hit..
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

• As for the colors available this is quoted in the press release on the HMSI site

Original press note here

CBR 150R has light and compact DOHC 150cc engine which produces peak power of 18 BHP @ 10,500 RPM and peak torque of 12.6 Nm @ 7500rpm which is ideal for both highway and city riding condition.
How can they say 12.6 Nm is ideal for city riding, we will need to change gears frequently at such low torque unless we plan to keep the bike at higher RPM
