^^Last VFR was not an outright tourer.

Anyway making sense out of the Japaneese SBK nomenclature is tough business, YZF, GSX, GSR...

OT: Yes there is a place called Raj Nagar in Ghaziabad.

Sometimes i feel the words yzf gsx gsr vfr are all japanese words for hot sexy bold beautiful.

OT: 1. there's a guy who rides a green ninja there. Know him?

According to an article in motorbeam, bookings for CBR150 are already started.. price is a cool 1.35lakhs on road.

Good luck to all those who still want to buy this with such price tag

. This is what i've been posting all along, they can't possibly undercut competition due to the tech involved. But the market reality is that you need to undercut competition with such a bike to gain numbers/make impression on the buyer. Now this bike's only segment of buyers look like those who didn't get R15 because of pillion seat and didn't go for ZMR as they feel it's dated and wanted only a Japanese bike. To me that sounds like a very very niche segment. No doubt, it will still sell, it's still a good bike, but only contention could be that is that the best you can buy with 1.35 lakhs??

if it was atleast within 1.15 lakhish i would have bought it.i am little bit unhappy with the pricing,but it will sell.

Ur completely wrong. A track oriented bike should have low torque and more power to make it a true track-oriented bike and thats why the CBR-150 is faster than the R15. Its the high bhps with low torque that makes a real racing motor. Torque can be used for carrying heavier weights. CBR does it very well in this regard as a 150cc motor similar to D200 & P200NS.

if unicorn is doing well with in city i don't see any problem with 150 r with lesser weight.

The CBR 150 r Deluxe Version Costs Rs. 1,33,431 / - ( On road Chennai )

The Difference between Standard version and Deluxe Version is only "The Color". No other Changes in Specification .

Bookings started and Booking amount is Rs.5000 /- , Waiting period is 2 months .

Doesnt make sense to anyone.

But I still doubt the price tag. 1.35l, thats plain stupid.
I'm still of the view that its gonna be priced under the R15 by atleast a grand or two.

Gotta wait and find out.

D200 is a premium motorcycle highly underpriced.
Considering the heavy prebooking KTM is bound to hike the price post 1st of April.

Cbr150 will sell under the pretext of being faster,more comfy and more fuel efficient vis-a-vis it only competition, the R15.

This is a fairing frenzy country. Duke hasnt really stolen the show from the R15, it certainly wont inhibit Cbr150's birth in our country.

Cbr150,it still is 'speculated' to be overpriced juz like R15 was speculated with such vociferous confidence that it will be priced below a lakh.

Wait n watch guys!
This time I'm sure no Honda lover would want me to be proved wrong.

I feel the price tag is justified, if honda offers premium servicing for this bike.

DOHC (how many bikes do we have in india with DOHC which retail for less than 3 lacs?), Perimeter Frame, Liquid cooling engine, FI technology, soft compound tyres, a light weight of 138 kilos even when it has a full fairing(imagine how heavy pulsar 200 NS will be with a full fairing)... and yeah a top speed which people believe is ATLEAST 130+KMPH...
There are some video on youtube where modded CBR150R's are doing 180+kmph

If you look at the things this bike is capable of doing... its worth every penny of the 1.35 lakh rupees...

I remember reading a review by some magazine where they raced a stock CBR150R against a daytona R15... the difference was just a second or two between them, a modded CBR150R will be probably THE BEST commercial 150cc 4 stroke in the world.
