    If he is true i can atleast expect a 50kmpl considering HMSI's claim of 28city 32highway was pretty much SPOT ON in the 250R posters and brochures.


    Also i have always wanted to ask those people here who are comparing the 150R/R15 with Dukes on this forum for quite sometime now claiming "Pricing" as the factor for such silly comparisions.
    IIRC the RE is also in the same price bracket as the R15/CBR150R. Now why isnt anyone comparing the Bullet with these bikes? Hypocrisy much?

      Motoroids claims that CBR 150 R gives 35+ kmpl when driven at 90+kmph...
      I'm not sure if motoroids is reputed web site or not, their web site also mentions that their sources indicated the CBR top speed to be 160kmph...
      I'm really starting to wonder what this bikes actual top speed is... can anybody check some thai forum please

        Comparing Honda CBR150R vs Honda CBR250R | Tech Specs | Top Speed | Mileage. Check out this link,they claim a top speed of 130 and mileage around 35.

          i read about its true top speed somewhere few months back....its speedo shows 160-165 kmph bt it can touch true 145 kmph on any given day...

            i think its top speed will be around 140,as it is a de-tuned version meant for india.

              I am sure it can go beyond true 150 easily with a little mod job.....because honda cbr125r(youngest cbr) can touch 135-140 on speedo....

                    but the yammy will sure beat the cbr150 in twisties and around corners but again day to day riding we dont see lot many corners and twisties unless you live in hills ;much of a practical bike hope it is priced competitively

                      can honda price it sensibly?i kinda doubt it,,look at their stunner hardly sells,grossly over-priced,still no price cut.leave aside their bikes,look at their car portfolio,jazz ,overall great product ,failed to make impression in terms of sale,they were forced to do price cut.having said that,their recent launch brio was sensibly priced,so they may price it in between p200 ns and r15.fairing-starved,and pillion-comfort minded people will go for cbr.heard somewhere they have stopped production of dazzler and are about to bring out cb 150,don't know how concrete this news is,but they are taking their indian counterpart seriously.

                        I was following a thai 150R forum a few months ago. From ownership posts almost everyone who mentioned topspeed indicated 145+ on the speedo. Expect the Indian version to do atleast 140

                                What I find a little disconcerting is the little news buried in the news report: "The CBR 250R has seen some substantial slide in sales in the recent months. The company saw sales of under 140 units of the bike in January as against its usual tally of around 2,500-3,000 units every month." ... the KTM/ New Pulsar effect?
