Sarcasm, Everywhere is not just that funny! Seriously! You pointed an US listing, Which just charges a shipping of 32 USD, Coming around 100 USD = 4500 INR, Where an Indian seller an ebay.in used to sell it for 4200 INR, And thats the one I was talking about few page back, Who also stated he will relist the Item. I am not worried about the 300 INR difference
But I prefer Indian listers. Hate to say that your hidden humor sucks.

Whoa!!! The general practice here (atleast Adi & myself) follow is to order from US & get it through someone coming down. You didn't specify from where despite I mentioned the price is $69 ($ is the currency in US). If it were from ebay.in, I would've said "Rs'. Its not sarcasm, its misunderstanding!!! Don't get hurt, just forget the misunderstanding.
BTW, last time, when I got Xena, I got it for $55 against the regular price of $98. The Indian listing would never beat that price.Last edited by aargee; 06-15-2011, 10:39 AM.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Mate am talking about how fast the cars are manufactured than bikes ONLYOriginally posted by aargee View PostYou may want to compare the speed between P150, Discover w.r.t Maruti/Tata & Hyundai. Otherwise, C250R vs other cars of the premium segments.
!
Honda is a global brand and am surprised on what context they said that they want to sell 30,000 cbr's within one year of launch ! They should be able to produce atleast 2000-2500 units a month to reach the target ! Where as they are struggling badly !
IMO- The reason they say is because of JAPAN and I would say that a brand like HONDA does not have a plan B or plan C instead only depending on plan A ! ( Remember all these should be done before launching )

Even then, I don't think cars are produced as fast as motorcycles are manufactured. I highly doubt on it.Originally posted by srivaatsav View PostMate am talking about how fast the cars are manufactured than bikes ONLY
Exactly!!! May be they've a target of worldwide & not India. Who knows?Originally posted by pulsar_flame View Postam surprised on what context they said that they want to sell 30,000 cbr's...they are struggling badly !
Do you believe that is true? If it were the case, then...Originally posted by pulsar_flame View PostThe reason they say is because of JAPAN
1. Why do they have manufacturing plant at Thailand?
2. How're they able to meet the demand in Europe in 4 days?
They've, but, will not use that in India. Probably for the rest of the world!!! Trust me, half of these gimmicks are played by dealers in addition.Originally posted by pulsar_flame View Postand I would say that a brand like HONDA does not have a plan B or plan C instead only depending on plan A !Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

+1 Dude. I got a call on 8th June about my delivery whereas on 1st June I went to the dealer and gave him a strong piece of my mind when he said delivery in July and see within 7 days I got a callOriginally posted by aargee View PostEven then, I don't think cars are produced as fast as motorcycles are manufactured. So its just the marketing gimmick of these losers. They want to show people that HONDA Bikes are the best so there is much more demand than the supply. If you can pay extra bucks we can arrange one for you ASAP!!
Morons!I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

They might have meant 30,000 booking and make people wait for lifetimeOriginally posted by srivaatsav View PostHonda is a global brand and am surprised on what context they said that they want to sell 30,000 cbr's within one year of launch ! I dint understand why Honda is making people to wait so long when Pulsar( which is selling in good numbers) is available off the shelf.

OT: Most of the dealers have pressure to sell a particular number of Twisters a month. No matter the showroom has a booking or not, they'll receive a fixed number of Twisters from Honda each month and they've to sell it. This was told to me by the showroom guy.
They aren't much worried about the other models. Probably that's one reason you will see them talking more about Twister.
Just thought of sharing this info with you all.

What does that imply ? Huge demand ? Or they are taking that line off ?

I will order if it works fine with CBR250R.
Instead of searching in US site we should search the site where we have someone to bring from. It's not my confidence, I speak the Destiny

Pulsar 220 & C250R are 2 different brands coming from two different companies. Haven't you seen the hachiko ad?
Huge artificial demand; atleast, that's what it appears to me.Originally posted by BladeBoy View PostHuge demand ? Or they are taking that line off ?

I never see much Unicorns Dazzlers at the street. Demand hmm, Fancy. Regarding CBR, Well they are already losing customers! I can see many people jumping to Ninja!
Even the 3rd booking in Didar which was ready for delivery got cancelled and the person went straight to Ninja! His reason was he found this bike underpowered! Well others hate the waiting period I presume
