But still, waited 2 months without an issue, and now its getting to me, I cant wait 3 days for registration and shit.

Hello Mates,

After a long wait of over 6 months finally I had fortune to see 'my' bike yesterday with the dealer but to my dismay the bike was badly scratched all around the console on the black plastic surface.
Now that I rejected the bike and there was one more Red-Std in the godown. I went to the godown this morning and was further frustrated too see this one too damaged near the seat. Another silver bike was also heavily damaged by the tying ropes
The dealer had promised me that he would do the inspection soon after the vehicles are unloaded from the trucks and only if he was satisfied he would send the vehicle for registration. I nevertheless did not want to take a chance and insisted that I would inspect even before they got it registered.
Now I am both happy and sad - happy because I did not land in a bad situation of having to own a bad bike, sad because my wait continues.


Request to you all prospective owners:

Please check the vehicle and be satisfied before the dealer gets it registered.
And PLEASE REJECT THE BIKE IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED ANYWAY. DO NOT JUST ACCEPT WHAT IS GIVEN TO YOU FEARING THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR NEXT LOAD.........
Do not listen to the dealer's assurances and be self-assured. Be patient and let Honda react to these incidents with precautions.

Faced the same situation.. Mudguard was spoilt which they replaced. When my uncle went to inspect there was an oil leakage in the fornt shockabsorbers on the left side. This mysteriously disappeared when i went to check the bike.... the bike had obviously taken a big fall and i rejected the bike.. and the wait continues...

Status of Haiku Honda Domlur, Bangalore

Guys, I called up Haiku Honda Domlur (Bangalore) today and those guys said that till date, they've delivered/received bikes till booking number 20 (Mine is 26 ). Can someone please verify this? Because it could either mean that the rate of deliveries is increasing and honda is speeding up, or, that he's bluffing :|

Any info would be really appreciated

And I am waiting from 6 months and still will be getting it next week...

Anyways, guys till now there are news of quality issues (oil leakage, Coolant leakage etc.) with bikes during deliveries...
Whats happened to Honda, known for quality, even Bajaj (not known for quality) delivers bikes in better condition...

Is there a specific reason (less trained staff or some thing) for thses issues???

Guys should I check the bike first? I mean they said its there in the warehouse but I havent checked it yet. I didnt submit any papers for registration so should I go and see the bike?

Also its better for the dealer to register or should I do it? I have no EXPN of registering any vehicle as this is my 2nd bike!

Mate, I'am still waiting for my cheque to clear the bank. This is the actual time I am desperately waiting for the money to go from me... Dont know why the cheque has still not been presented to the bank. In case it happens in the morning, I will go in the evening for the delivery.

If i had known there would be a delay even after making a payment, I would have withdrawn the money and paid in cash

Honda CBR250R launch function for Chennai

I was just informed by my dealer a few minutes ago that the Honda CBR 250R official launch in Tamilnadu is being organized tomorrow at Chennai Trade Centre and that I was welcome to attend it. I didnot know how to respond . Launch function after 2 months of commencement of delivery, I really don't know what to say... I guess that speaks for the pathetic state of the Honda dealerships in Tamilnadu...

Use this opportunity to highlight all the issues in the bike. Speak out openly. I'm sure they'll ask you about your experiences.
Not sure how much this will help, but do make them aware of these issues.
