Kidding dude..Enjoy your ride. Good luck and all the best..

About lubricating, don't worry, it is a dry chain (no greasing required). All you need is a chain cleaning/lubricating spray (MOTUL is what I use.. Rs 450). Dont worry about it now. The bike what they give to you will have a lubricated chain. Lubrication will be done again when you give it for the first service. Just enjoy your ride..

As far as my exp, Every time I get my bike washed, I use this spray to clean/lube the chain.
Thanks so much. That clears my doubt . And yes I am used to this type of attention albeit in a different way. I thoroughly look like our old times villain Shetty with a big build and bald head so get all the looks/glances when I am at a place.

Do you mean the headlight bulb?? Yes.. Imported.. Its a japanese make.. Not a known company.. But why do you want that? You can replace it with any H4 60/55w bulb from companies like phillips or osram if fused.. even the stock bulb is too good and enough unless u are really crazy over powerful lights..
You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

During this period, avoid full throttle starts and rapid acceleration."

So, I guess one is not supposed to test the bike's top speed during the running-in although it does not explicity say so. Also, nothing is mentioned about rpm's. The dealer told us to keep it b/w 4k and 5k rpm. I have occasionally reached about 80 kms/hr but I usually drive at around 60kms/hr.

I have done around 150 kms in all, and I did not find any heating issues. I can feel the engine heat only while driving in traffic jams or waiting at signals. the temp ind still shows 3 bars (which is normal).

A couple of other things that might be of users to owners...

Fuel tank capacity is 13 ltrs. Single bar on the indcator means approx 3.5 ltrs of fuel.
For chain lubrication.. lubricant for o ring chain should be used. If its not available. SAE80 or 90 gear oil can be used.

Lets end this topic. There was no question whether to do a proper run-in or not!!!

Again..my question is, will the bike reach the top speed if not completed the run-in? (Yes/No?)

Well dude, YES and NO. A proper run-in might add a few kmph to the top-speed (5kmph or so max). Even if not run-in properly, u ain't gonna lose out much on top speed.

                          • Finally got mine today. Red. ABS. Engine's smooth and sounds good but heats up pretty quickly. Build quality seems better compared to the display bike I saw earlier. Happy as a clam now. Must have ogled at her for hours.
