If, by chance, the streets falling in your route get flooded, I don't think you're going to buy a separate bike for that

thats kind of exactly what i meant... most of the times we cant say is the next street is flooded or not... and for this kind of exhaust... i dont think any flooding isnt necessary... a small splash of water is good enough... i hope these guys have thought about an alternative... cauz i was expecting to make this my next bike

If I am not wrong, all the Bajaj scooters had silencers at about the same height and in roughly the same position as this KTM. And I don't recall many cases of those scooters facing problem due to rains.

the text says "Ready to Race"... but the overall design doesn't look "sporty".

                i don't like it.

                      • I think that "ready to race" can be edited like the karizma zmr... i dont exactly like the speedo... but i have a strong feeling that ill start liking it once i see the power figures and see the bike in flesh...

                        • although the bike is great, KTM could have changed the looks a lettle bit so that it looks like an on road bike rather than looking like a totally off road bike.

a little bit of fairing, better speedo console, bigger headlamp. i mean, if its a 200, it should also feel like a 200.

                          just my personal opinion.

So, do we get "Modes" to select like Superbikes

I can think of a couple of bikes currently available in the market meeting those requirements.
Why would you want the KTM to go down that road? You could pick one of those instead...

                                Whoa!!

Somewhere else i read that the upcoming 'big' Pulsar sporting a 200-220cc motor based on KTM 200 with new lighter design would be launched too around the month of August. If it's actually the same KTM200(which i am sure wont be) motor then it would be interesting to see how Bajaj positions those two bikes.

And with around 25PS of power at the disposal on such a light bike it would be one hell of a ride for sure. But somehow i feel this bike would serve good(and is targeted) as a 'second' bike and not the sole or only bike of a typical potential customer in India.
