Rupee is at all time low which in turn leaves no choice for crude oil companies than to increase the prices having an adverse affect on Petrol prices.

Opposition parties says this is due to bad economic planning.

End of the day we'll pay more and ride less

It has been raised by Rs. 6.28 excluding taxes. Actual price hike will vary in different regions depending on the taxes.

Final price works out to be ~77 in Channai, ~78 in Bombay.

Isnt there any way to go against by making a planned and co-ordinate strike or action or anything which would force the govt. to reduce the price? Afterall this is a huge Biking community and there are members from all over the India

Petrol/diesal hike=inflation=rupee value depreciation ('looting' cycle of UPA)

They are not doing anything productive or going to the root cause:P

Blore is the worst ! In shell it was 81.50 already now i think it will be 83~85

Here in Mysore Petrol at Shell is Rs.80.80 and the employee told there wont be any hike in Shell Fuel rate mean while in Normal Fuel station it costs ~74Rs.
Now I have to start riding my p220 in Economy or go to college by Cycle

By increasing price by this much, they're just priming us to accept a hike. They'll reduce the petrol price in a week or so and that reduced hike will start looking acceptable compared to this hike. Bandits.

Best way out of this is to propose a law in which Poloticians have to pay for their respective fuel bills . Then they will understand the agony of the people of india..
