Yes you are right! American bikers are prone to use 600 cc or above bikes (mostly cruisers) and customized models... CBR 250R seems like a modern kid of motorcycling for them!!!

But for us... Its a BEAST which is gonna rock our India in 3 monts...

we are just entering to the sports... namely starting from, the LEGEND: CBZ (First 5 geared stylish motorcycle in India)
Then started the line-up's of other company's in India.
Competition increased between manufacturers.
As a result, we are slowly entering in to sports with increase in CC and performance!

But one thing... Indian roads and politics remains the same (or) getting worse.

Even though we get developed in Auto technology, some co-ordination is needed in terms of utilizing it (eg: Road, Road sense of people, good technical service etc...)

What ever it may be... I am one among you, waiting for the darling CBR 250R to taste the Indian soil, with me on it!

CBR is a pelo bike..15 CBR's have already been booked at my place,and a group of five guys have booked each!!

But I am not speaking about market launches... Its about style and craze started on bikes... CBZ (classic) stimulated it!

So the people who booked it in January will get in April & May & those who booked in February (Like me) will get it in June & July and so on!

The bike will ma made in India and exported to South America and out places so its going to be a tough fight to get the bike if you want it soon.

Well the probable date is June end for me but I am expecting it to be delivered in August because of the rush just like R15 & ZMR!

Are you sure on that? From what I heard the delieveries would start only from june. There are no bikes in India yet.

But I am very much afraid of the price

. I am planning for an CABS version, which I am praying to price between 1.8 to 2.05 Lakhs max (on-road chennai).

well then cbr 250 will not be a premium one that's for sure,the bike is selling like r15..that's probably good news for the people who has ninja 250 like me...

May I know the definition of premium?
Something that is rarely sold is premium?

Now some guy may come and say I have N-Gage QD and Nokia only made 300 Million QD handsets so is it premium?

Premium is not what you think bro, I am not abusing or fighting or flaming, just telling you.

For some R15 is premium (For me it was premium till I booked CBR)

For some GSX14R is premium because that guy must be driving a 600 or 1000cc bike so he might think 1400cc is premium.

BTW R15 is still not common on roads, the common bikes are splendor, passion, twister and even activa being a scooter its too common. They might not be premium for you but for some they are!

Youa re lucky to have a Ninja so CBR aint premium for you but ask me, I have a Hunk Spl; Edn so even R15 is premium for me untill I get my baby CBR!

Cool man, when did you book it?
I booked the standard version, budget budget budget, if it was possible I would have got CABS but still I am happy to get a CBR!

The extra price that is paid for availing superb services.

Ninja250r demands a hefty premium(cannot justify the pricing anyway

) and promises some redline peaky crazy bhp(nice but not much) and sports sensation of a supersports(600cc) bike within the 250cc segment.One can keep a PulsarLS for daily use and take the mean green out on the weekends with Fuel bill lower than most Superbikes.

CBR250R is a all-rounder vehicle in the 250cc segment, it is the classic case of good at all, best and worst at nothing, a bike for daily use if life is easy with a bit of high fuel bill than the everyday P220 or Hunk or CBZ Xtreme.
