As I found out today, albeit with a car that ABS is very useful in difficult driving conditions..
funny enough.. we didn't have ABS in our car.. was driving in heavy snowfall.. had a couple of skids that were good enough to slow down rest of the journey. On the contrary cars with ABS were just zooming past us.
Not sure how useful it will be in panick situations.. as that would acutally mean very less or no response time in some cases.Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

Thats when ABS really helps. When the reaction time is too small, and too costly to spare, we cant really spend on countering the panic, regaining attention, and concentrate enough to apply that right amount of braking force, which is strong enough, but wont lock the wheels.
When there is ABS, all we have to do is just reach out for the brake lever and pull it just hard..MOTORCYCLING IS AS MUCH ART AS IT IS SCIENCE

FAQs-RTR owners
For me its never been nor will ever be my DL, For me its always been and will always remain my RL {Riding License}
I confess that I ♥ :
*Being ogled at while waiting
for lights to turn green
*Fielding queries from massed onlookers
*Pushing dream bikes to their limits
*Blasting past slowpokes
*Hoiking the front wheel
*Scraping a knee around corners

75k ex-showroom is decent pricing for this bike. After TVS crunches of some numbers(hopefully) we can see some reduction in price.Originally posted by R-series View PostNice video, and a convincing test, though i watched it in office without Audio

And I hope the upcoming "BIG" bike too sports this feature!!

I won't say for a TVS bike, but 1 lakh is probably high for a Apache RTR 180 in its present form.Originally posted by Satyamzma View PostThats too much Asking for a TVS bike
Make the bike RTR 200 with bumped up power and with completely new styling in the Super Sports form (obviously with a full fairing) to leverage the "TVS racing" pedigree and if possible with liquid cooling.
In that case 1 lakh would sound pretty value for money along with the ABS.

. TVS is not known to price their bikes in user friendly bracket. So if TVS does provide all these goodies it will certainly be asking for anything close to 1.25 what with the FI itself asking for a premium of about 12-15K. But I am sure asking for a premium of 8-10K for ABS should not be a very big deal .. anything above it and TVS might be asking for trouble.
