Guys, I have doubts of a showroom in Chennai. Do we have one? Or is it coming up? The following picture from the site is really confusing.

Ha ha @captain_koli: If you know what sort of bike you want then you will know that nothing has been blown away. N650 and GT650 are 2 different bikes with diff purpose. The former is a sport-tourer, mainly for touring/long commuting and the second is more sportive and a lot superbikish!. If you are a person who desperately wanted a 600+cc bike for touring purpose then it is the N650. GT650R was never an option.Originally posted by captain koli View Postguys im so sorry but the on road price of ninja 650r is in and its less than the ex-shw price of gt650r so it kind of blows awwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaayy gt650r
Just a case, If KTM 600 was launched at 4 lacs then it doesnt mean it'll blow up N650.. diff bikes.. diff purpose.. diff price..

well both bikes are 650cc and gt650r has a suzuki sv650cc bike engine which is again a sports tourerOriginally posted by men_in_jean View PostHa ha @captain_koli: If you know what sort of bike you want then you will know that nothing has been blown away. just because its got a split seats and clip on dont make it a supersports bike its more like puttiing a bajaj avenger engine on a ninja 250r
but if gt650r had a i4 engine then it would have blow the n650r away
but cool it dude u enjoy ur baby
and just the case if ktm duke 690 came at 4 lacs then it would blow both gt650r and n650r

Guys, please stop flaming the GT650 with the introduction of the ninja.
For long we have been cribbing that we have no performance bikes in India and now when companies make an effort to introduce bigger machines, its not nice for us to flame them.
The Ninja is good at what it does and so does the Hyosung. Agreed it may not be as flamboyant and flashy due to its roots (korean brand etc.) but if the bikes sucked, they would have become extinct years back.
Did you know that Hyosung used to supply engines to the Japanese bike manufacturers not long ago?
Lets enjoy the way the markets are opening up.
