Earlier it was a different dealer. Looks like it didn't work out and they pulled out. If I am correct, these are a different group of people.Originally posted by firen View PostThat was what the last guy told me about a month and half back..
Just hoping that everything worksout and we get these dealers atleast to come out successful - in atleast opening the showroom. Thanks,

the comparos between the GT650r and the ninja and about the indian mindset are like a rich kid who has his own room, his own study table and his own books to read draw but still does not get good grades and the poor guy who reads in the street light and lives in a shack and tops in class...the rich kids are the typical mass and the poor kid are the 'actual tourers'...seriously how many in india would spends close to 5 laks for something which does not have any poser value be it at the local mall or the coffee joint...posser value IS still a big thing in india as it is already indacated by the massive sales for premium cars being sold...BMW managed to sell more cars than Tata Nano last november!! we have to accept the fact that there are very few serious bikers and most of them buy either for commute or poser value!! so i guess in the indian context of things the GT650R would win....even if kawasaki had launched the ZX-6R at 6.5 to 7 lakhs it would have sold more than the GT 650R!!smoking weed is for kids.....i smoke asphalt!

@dreamchaser yes u are absolutely right, now days in India people are buying some good valuable things even if it is costly,so zx6r surely many would have bought it without any second thought including me, many would say it is not ideal for indian condition like that but in the end of the day it is a inline 4 which is every one bikers dream...pulsar 150 - 02

Rich kids will have the moolah but irrespetive of meager or behemoth of money, a niche (note 'not majority' and 'not all') of passionate bikers will know their take.. having owned a Ninja 250R (and Yamaha R15, 220 dts-fi, Karizma ZMA, old Fazer, CBZ, YBX and RX135) for 13.5 months, I knew my next leap and it was not 'Ninja 650R' for me but GT650R, the derivative to choose has more to do with ascertaining self wants then assimilate from the realm of proposed viewpoints and practicality.Originally posted by pulsar_flame View Post@dreamchaser yes u are absolutely right, now days in India people are buying some good valuable things even if it is costly,so zx6r surely many would have bought it without any second thought including me, many would say it is not ideal for indian condition like that but in the end of the day it is a inline 4 which is every one bikers dream...
Probably I may not behold the toppest postion but in reality I have rummaged more then 120 reviews of 'Ninja 650R and GT 650R' combined together, nothing has deterred me to choose what my fathomless need/want intends for. If ZX-6R I4 would have been a drop hold and priced righteously, GT650R would have taken a back seat.. this probably would have shunned 'me' or many like me in the segment of exhinitionists aka so called posers, but within you, 'your' dauntless reality awaits and cuts through the tagged stigma.
I ain't a rich kid, neither I vouch to have been 'one', having sacrificed outings and the fancifying boon of youth fun, I have saved doughs to graduate, levitate and heave high in achieving my dreams. But still I pre-vision the final aim of my life and as the legendary masterpiece act of Heath Ledger puts it: 'Madness is Like Gravity, all it takes is a little Push!' many amongst us have beautified its essence indisputably
I congratulate all owners of GT650R and Ninja 650R, and best wishes to the wanna be owners, as both behold prominence in their own ways

I'm still torn between the two...since the last 2 months have been severely oscillation between the two... at one point being hell bent on the gt to another where I'm sure the ninja is it... having read innumerable reviews I don't think i can read anymore... the mind says ninja... the heart says gt... and I'm a person who listens to my heart 90% of the times.... I have left it now to the last minute when I actually go to make the purchase...
"stay hungry, stay foolish."
To those who have attitude... My middle finger salutes you...!

after too much much of thought i realized that i need a bike only for weekend morning rides so no tourer for me . Also GT has that sports bike stance . GT is in for me but now struggling to finalize the color as i am confused between RED (single tone) and White (single tone ).
Were are the pics of your RED beauty Melroyal, I hope you got delivery of your bike.
