Pulsar is a brand in itself & other bike manufacturers can only dream of making a brand so strong as that of Pulsar in India
    What about RTR series?

Nice joke. RTR wins over Pulsars hands down in every aspect. And Pulsars will never be able to match the refinement and comfort that you get in the HONDAS.

Honda started to make motorcycle engines in 1949..............but Bajaj started to make there own motorcycle engines in 2000....
So it takes time to any company to build an refined engine................

Pulsar are only for stunts they dont develop and their R & D sucks look at honda and TVS and all they do their talking in tracks and dont forgot R15
P220 loose to RTR 180 in pick up (till 90-100)
p220 will be miles behind and will be seen in RVM if it'z full of corners and competing with R15
if u say p220 is a tourer bike think again itz stressed engine and lotz propz will bother you then enjoing your ride....
and talking about built quality ill tell you they are really sick.........(coz ive seen 3 brand new 220 was in trouble in less than a month)
BUT ONE CAN'T CATCH IT IN OPEN ROAD IT JUST ZOOM

Should the customer worry about who started to make engines when?

Yes, it's an aweful in respect of tourer & that's why I did a recent 600km+ trip on my bike, with my wife as a pillion, carrying a huge rucksack & another heavy bag & that too the trip was to Mussourie (Uttarakhand) pulling happily on the mountain roads & also keeping most of the vehicles behind on open highways when in plains.

People should refrain from commenting on product just because "3 brand new 220 was in trouble in less than a month" amongstthousands of Pulsars being sold !! Even I have came across RTRs with some faults but I would never say that RTR SUCKS ! And kudos to TVS for thier R&D but most riders don't go to racetracks to do thier biking. Mostly & I mean MOSTLY biking is done on city roads, state highways, national highways.

Probably you would have been happier if you would have done that on a ZMA

Only Bajaj knows the indian market so well, after Heros(who are virtualy no brainers without honda).
Bajaj's got the varieties in all segments.... no wonder they are going to be number one soon ...
But speaking such words against a company, who are no.1 in the world,is lyk - "A CIRCUS TRAINED LION CHALLENGING A WILD AFRICAN LION" ....
The circus LION should be happy about the fact that people love him more in the circus, where the wild LION has no chance of survival.
So Mr. Bajaj should say about the success of his company, rather than comparing and commenting on others....

Probably Bajaj is saying all this to get some free publicity.
