Yes there are pics of KTM Duke. But you may not see them due to the restrictions on your office computer. (same is the case with me )

You can copy the url and paste on a google image toolbar. you'll see few of them.

            Hi ,

Yup he is somewhat right, Bajaj will Launch these bikes in December but delivery will begin in Ja 2012. As these things have been said by Mr Bajaj himself in a press conference.
So just start saving money to get hold of new line pulsars and KTM 200.

But iam looking for big one i.e. KTM 350

I like how you are on a first name basis with the big guy

In any case, it is a fair assumption that the launch is not far off, considering the probiking in Delhi already has some poster/promo material on display.

                    Hi there,
But Rajiv mentioned that new lines of pulsars will be launched in Nov -Dec 2011 and we can assume that + - one month for KTM. and i belive Bajaj will launch their lines of bikes first and then KTM 200. So that they can get their market share first.........
Wish they'll come up with atleast 300cc pulsars or KTM 300/350

would go and book on day one if 300/350 will be launched......

350 is due for launch in 2013 (*condition: the KTM 200 meets their expected sales in 2012)

Urge the rest of you guys to get the 200 (I plan to as well).
We can sell it before the warranty expires, take a small loss, then get the 350. The 350 will be the one to get Too bad they aren't launching it in pairs, the ideal combo would have been KTM Duke 125 & 350 launched together. The 125 for the up and coming biker, and the 350 to inject some madness in the Indian market!

well couldn;t understand ur point on 350 ... what extra ur planning to do .. with 350 that u can't do on 200/250 ?? if its a shift from 150 to 350 then i can understand for high power, .. if the same 200/250 provides usable power and mileage then wt additional benifits ur expecting from 350 ? for 100CC extra u might get another 5-10 horses .. so as these bikes are for comfortable cruising/riding rather racing .. i don;t see the point here ...

according to the intended scope of usage of the KTM200 [read as city/tour] with estimated power of 24-27PS is awesome .. and not to forget the mileage of 200cc .. which satisfies every desire of biker

unless ur the one of those guys who love to have big engine bike as lifestyle product [not showoff] and more intended towards numbers [read as CC]

I guess the reason to upgrade to the Duke 350 would be similar to the reason people upgrade from 350cc Enfields to 500cc ones. To get a product which is different from 'Run of the mill'. Anyways, I would be skeptical to upgrade to
Duke 200 from the P220. Duke 350 would at least make somebody like me think about an upgrade.

A difference in 100cc may just bump up power by 5 points (although KTM have regularly beaten this delta), but a difference in 100cc changes the engine behaviour, the gearing, the weight/suspension bias/handling entirely. No KTM has ever been accused of being a comfortable cruiser ! Ever ! Still, a larger engine will be less strained to keep higher speeds for longer distances. A smaller engine will need to be pushed much harder, and when it is pushed that hard for longer periods, not so good for anybody. The KTM 200/350's will probably never be inter-state rides, for most of us. But it doesn't hurt to know that you could do it in a 350 without pushing it as hard as the 200. The sheer size of the 200's rear sprocket is enough to estimate it's bottom/mid-range bias, definitely not designed for the interstate highway runs.

correction, which satisfies all your desires apparently. There are others who desire more. For a variety of reasons.

The way I see it, is that a 4 stroke 200cc motorcycle is built for a considerably lighter/smaller person than myself. A 350 on the other hand, is just big enough for me (in India), powerful enough, and in KTM colors, mad enough to keep me interested.

Simply put, I have ridden enough 20-30PS bikes to fill my stomach.
It is time for a significant step up to ~50 PS/HP/whatever unit pleases you.
KTM have a 4 stroke 350cc engine in production already that puts out 40+ PS in their mx bikes, the SX-F and EXC-F. If they detune these engines for the Duke 350, and continue their tradition of powerful engines in lightweight chassis, it will be a combination that will blow away any other bike in the same displacement/power category.
