Are the add-ons only visual or could you spot something else?Originally posted by antz.bin View PostThe middle one is a fully loaded version with optional-add-ons installed.

(My noob eyes couldn't)
PS: Bhai, I wasn't disputing the reason for them being present there. Just that no one discussed, so thought most missed it. Peace

DK, were you in Siliguri on 21st November? I saw a red CBR MH registered with tank-bag/saddle bag, DSG gloves & fully geared. Couldn't say hi, as I was at the wheel at a signal.

And since most of it is highway usage, I would consider it 'extremely sparingly' used. If it hasn't had a fall yet, it practically is still in the boxOriginally posted by darkknight View Post@prince : 4 months old & 12k kms done only
@DK you will take a big hit on depreciation. Dont sell it.Advice is a form of nostalgia.

The First figure was a speculated oneOriginally posted by Ghost11 View PostFirst the top speed was said at 127Kmph and now its 135 Kmph.I think i will wait till the xbhp review is out.Maybe it will go above 150
The second figure is a tested one.
Or it could be that the second figure is speedo indicated and the first figure is the actual speed?
Either way, my theory was right
Waiting for xbhp report aswell to get that one final Nod
the Indian made CBR comes with a rev limiter aswell. Thai made doesnt.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostROFL guys, Didn't you read? It does 127 kph at 10K RPM in 6th gear and still have enough torque to push it forward. But it can't as the rev limiter starts acting at the same RPM. So anyone wants better top speed can simply fiddle with ECU to remove the limiter or even simpler, put smaller rear sprocket. I hope Bajaj don't set rev limiter enabled while selling in India.
For me, I'd put smaller sprocket. It will definitely increase the top end and also help to give better 'kitna deti hai?' factor than it's official 30 kmpl.
With stock gearing and limiter removed the bike should be able to do 139.7 KPH @ 11K RPM and if it still have enough grunt it can do 152.4 kph @ 12K RPM mark.
.
As for ur "figures", are you just pulling it out or did you do some calculations for it?Last edited by Nithesh; 12-06-2011, 01:27 PM.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

BAL has surely mastered the art of making good-looking non-obstrusive saree guards. Makers of the Baby CBR should learn something from this.Advice is a form of nostalgia.
