Bajaj Auto testing an all new Discover, which like the 2012 Pulsar 200 NS, could spawn an all new motorcycle series. Well our roving eye in the sky, EarthFusion, has been spot on about the sighting and today we have some visual proof courtesy our friend Rohit Paradkar, of OnCars, who spotted the all new Discover doing the testing rounds. The Bajaj Discover, like the Pulsar 200 NS will feature all new styling and is expected to be a completely new model for the premium commuter segment that it is positioned in.
All New Next Generation Bajaj Discover Sports Commuter Motorcycle
While other details about when this motorcycle will be launched in India and the price at which it will be positioned at remains unknown at the moment. But we do know for a fact that the Discover is all set to get a big revamp, just like the Pulsar series. Like the Pulsar the Discover too has been a big success for Bajaj Auto. The Discover also has many technologies that Bajaj pioneered on its flagship Pulsar series, like the dual spark plug DTSi ignition and the low end torque improving Exhaustec system on the exhaust. So, expect the next gen Discover to also get a few goodies from the new range of next generation Pulsars.
From the spyshots, we can make out that the next generation Discover could feature a similar headlamp fairing like the current model. The instrumentation console however, shows a market change, from the twin pod analog layout to a digital layout, a-la-Pulsar 200 NS. This apart, there has been a big change in rear suspension, with the twin gas filled shock absorbers giving way to a gas charged monoshock unit. Also, the all new Discover seems to feature a new exhaust muffler. Watch this space for more updates even as we keep a close eye on the test5 mules of the next generation Bajaj Discover.
