After carefully checking the pics... i found that its cloned down bike of new age P200N .. styling like tank and its fairing and twin spar chasis [similar to P200NS] and slightly modified rear w.r.t pulsar.

so its true that P200NS tech did come down the line.. it seems it also helps in regulate cost [same with Honda styling across its range of bike in India].

it will also be difficult for other players to compete with this new change unless they also come up with similar stuffs [read as monoshock, chasis] as with commuter point of view and general public.. bajaj won;t leave a bit to advertise these new things as equal to heaven.

and the question remains why do i race?

Even i am not able to view the images. But thanks for uploading the images here. I had a closer look at the engine casing(whatever is visible) i find that the oil filter placing/design is same as that of pulsar 200 NS. So is this engine again a derivate of KTM/Pulsar 200 but without liquid cooling? IF so then this could be Discover 125/150 cc.

Defintely it doesnt have the twin spar frame like 200 NS as i can easily the single downtude and engine mounting having three screws on to the chasis

Edited : I tried in a different browser (firefox) and i could see the images

the bike was spotted speeding at 108 kph....and the bike advice article said it was near redlining(indicating a little more juice left in the engine?) also the p220 was struggling to reach this bike(with a pillion on the 220)

the rear tyre hugger and rear turn indicators make it look similar to p135 now i'm confused...i wanted to buy the p135 but bajaj is testing this new machine which looks promising...(i had assumed they wud be launching the same old discover with a facelift and some new features but nothing great) i can see the ugly weld marks on the chasis near the footpeg on existing discovers is missing on this machine...

what say guys? any one near pune who has free time try to find and chase this machine and compare it with existing line of bikes...we had many people trying to chase the p200ns...

Tail LED lamps remind me GS150R, anyone else thinks so? front disc cover, rear grab rail (not split).. most of the things point to new Discover, but monoshock is certainly a shock! anyone thinks that this could get 4-valve engine?

+1 on that.i was gonna point it out. its a new engine and most probably it could be a heavily revised version of the current discover 150 engine with may be a 4 valve set up like a p135's block with a new and slightly tweaked version of the current dts-i as its high time the discovers also got their share of 4 valve heads like the pulsars and that also could possibly explain the d 150s performance improvements.i personally don't think its a triple spark engine as the the tech is relatively new and fresh to filter down to the discover commuter range.I had read somewhere in the internet about rajiv bajaj saying that the new triple spark tech is, as of now will only be limited to the pulsars yet also promising that the triple spark will only be eventually filtering down to the discover range.... but then again i could also be wrong as i am just sharing my view on how thing could turn out to be as of now....and guys i don't know if any one of you are feeling what i am feeling right now after a look at the pics... does any one of you guys felt that the grab rail design looks like a full conventional version of the p135's split grab rails... and also the rear mudguard also seem to have taken a mild /tinniest inspiration from that of the one found on ktm duke 200....i meant the way the indicator looking like coming out from the mudguard unit and the lines at the side of the mudguard also reminds bit if the duke's unit....just look carefully...what do you say guys ?

In which pic you saw Twin-Spar? There is not Twin-Spar chasis and Bajaj are not so stupid to give twin-spar on a Discover.

Where can you see a P135 tail lamp? This is not coming with a P135 tail-lamp. As far as I can see this has a modified and a better version of Discover tail lamps. If you remove the tyre hugger it looks a very decent commuter with a "good big rear portion" which is synonymous to "comfort" (somewhat like Karizma)

I don't think it is coming with same old engine. Rajiv Bajaj said it will be a "complete" new bike and will be based on new tech (p200ns tech) so DTSi is sure but the knowledge gained to make the engine more refined and have a nice exhaust note is sure to boil down from P200NS.

I hope so otherwise they are gone. But I don't think so they will commit the same mistake. They have to compete with Zero

This was a commuter-oriented bike. And for its "commuterness" it was surprising to see it go over 100 (on my ie 220s speedo) and its engine was not growling for peace...!

Its a small bike, slightly bigger than the current discovers possibly..!

Speculation: My guess is that this might be the KTM Based 125cc engine...!

I too feel the same thing that the engine must be based on KTM 125 but with air cooling. When this bike gets a monoshock it would definitely get the 4 valved engine.

It would make more sense to put detuned KTM 125 rather than developing different platform (remember recently Rajiv Bajaj said they are platform centric). This would bring economies of scale and increase margins, share common development.

Looking at the spy pics i feel that the silencer design looks like the one which old disco used to come in 125/135 cc avatar. But this time its shorter, matt black and has aluminium exhaust tip. Does anyone feel the same?
