The answer is very simple; no maker will discontinue a model if it sells well. Apart from introduction of a new version (like the R15), the most relevant reason for discontinuation of any model is sales.Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostP220 Street discontinued...why and silently?
Sales dictate production cycles and numbers. If a manufacturer sees lesser sales on a particular model and those sales do not justify the overheads in production of that model, the manufacturer discontinues it; albeit at the risk of loosing a few customers who might have still gone in for it.Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

It has been discontinued to make way for P200NS as will be hitting showrooms this month end.
P220S was a replacement for Pulsar 200 and P200NS is a replacement for Pulsar 220S.
P220F will still be sold next to 200NS till the time they launch a faired version of the Pulsar 200 and its coming very soon
.
Street racing is for Squids trying to make up for their small equipment
