    It was a bad idea right from the beginning. One that was promoted by the corn growing lobby in U.S. in order to get the petroleum companies to buy ethanol made from corn. With the above article from the horses mouth I finally my case!!!

      But have a look - The new government is all set for 10% Ethanol blended petrol!

      Time for another debate on ethanol. I am game for the new fuel mix.

      @mods, @sunilg In the interest of the reader, can you please rename the thread. As it was december 2012 when 5% ethanol was about to become reality. Now we are in 2014 and 10% ethanol mix is about to happen.
