By the looks only - ordinary
though tech aspects are great i dont think Indians will pay 90k+ for avarage looking buy they will prefer p200 ns . Its too small
And one more thing front looks very similar to SZ-R (those wings and headlight design)Last edited by kapil_szr; 02-02-2013, 11:47 AM.

dont know when yamaha will upgrade fz with a better engine...??Originally posted by pcgamer View PostLooks are meh TBH. They could have done a lot better to honour the CB tag it carries. Even the 2008 FZ16 looks way better.

Yeah. That bike deserves a lot better engine. It needs at least a 200cc fuel injected, liquid cooled engine producing about 25PS. That fat rear deserves a disc.Originally posted by Naveen1985 View Postdont know when yamaha will upgrade fz with a better engine...??

BTW, Honda needs to price this one pretty low as it has competition from more potent 200NS. CBR150R, even though overpriced, sells decently due to the fairings and the looks. If Honda does similar to CBR wrt pricing, this one will fail for sure due to it's pretty poor looks.Last edited by pcgamer; 02-02-2013, 01:44 PM.

they should price it below 90000 ex showroom. as far as looks are concerned it looks very simple and plain but it will be fuel efficient, fuel injected, relaxed, vibration free, light and zippy motorcycle...and buddy cbr150r is not doing well, r15 is way ahead in terms of salesOriginally posted by pcgamer View PostYeah. Yes you are right the rear seat is the main reason many are considering it above r15 v2 where r15 v2 rear is almost non existent .Originally posted by Naveen1985 View Postabove 90000 means it will be a flop show like cbr150r which is selling due to relaxed seating posture and usable rear seat only...

Yamaha should bring in a touring handle bar kit for the R15, its sports posture is not that great for everyday / long rides for all classes of bikers. The announcement of such a product from Honda is a sign that the rest of the 150cc market has been caught napping. There is very little innovation/ technology coming to the 150cc naked bikes market. At the moment, the 125/135cc bikes are more technologically advanced than any of the air cooled sub 90k 150cc bikes. There is no notable feature on any 150cc air cooled bikes which is not offered by the 125cc segment.
There is no fuel injected air cooled 150cc bike
No 150cc bike <90k sports a 4 valve head.
No 150cc bike <90k engine makes > 100BHP/liter.
It's about time the 150cc Naked bikes in India got those features and stopped remaining behind the development curve of the bikes from a segment below. The CB150R is a good start in the right direction.
P.S.: The same points above are also valid for the 2 180s also. And another one would be that they don't offer monoshock suspensions that's common now on the 150s and has made an appearance even on a 125.Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
