Yes yes gone too far ! lets back to the street bike.

With a high revving motor in which 16 HP showing up at very high RPMs . This won't be the best street bike. However, Honda will be retuning this so we can expect change.

If one particularly wanna buy Honda, One can buy it Its a personal choice and faith in a brand. Any way even if its not going to be VFM,it won't be a bad bike either.

For people who are open to any brand, will close their eyes and pickup an FZ or NS.
Probably some updated existing street 150 will have slight edge in street usable torque against this one.

All are just imaginations lets see when it comes in.
I am sure it will still sell in acceptable numbers, just because its Honda Badge.

Well, I certainly cant live without the flash light switch. Its so hard, when I take my old Dawn onto the highway. Once you are used to an added advantage, You would never be comfortable with something less (even my 7 years old StaR city has flash light).
But CBR still sells(even though, not as expected) in descent numbers, due to its superb design.
Now, you cant expect these features on the new CB150R either. And it doesnt have the looks either. Better if honda get rid of the liquid cooling, give it a price tag of 80K OTR and replace the dazzle, it would be more practical, to take on FZ16.

I think it will have specs close to the fz. its the
one segment where Honda is lacking a product.

Please explain to me how all that was OT. The CB150R shares the same engine as that of the CBR150R and talking about the 150R's characteristics cannot be OT because this bike is basically a naked avatar of the 150R with a possibility of a slightly detuned engine to make up for the low torque figures.
Looks is always a "subjective" matter. Not many people liked the 250R when they saw its initial release pics but a year later it grows on you. It is even odd that the oddly narrow 500R also falls to the same group as "Not so appealing" but eventually it will still sell regardless of how it looks because unlike some, most people buy a bike for what it offers and care less about what it looks like and ofcourse pricing matters.
And getting rid of the liquid cooling system on an engine basically built for liquid cooling is not an easy task. What will they fill the water jacket with? Metal? And then add fins to the cylinder?

This bike has got typical HONDA styling. It doesn't feels aggressive at first, but then it grows on you.
When I got Unicorn(5 years back), it wasn't the best looker. I chose it for the performance it offers and until now, I haven't been dissatisfied.

This bike will gain tracking in market owing to HONDA reliability and technology(If priced as what has been speculated).

^Agree to your comment "Honda grows on you". But I wont see a under 1 lac price tag if they follow same strategy of importing the engine. Even the old PGM-Fi stunner cost a bomb* at that time. And is it real confirmed news that this one is coming to India

hehe. well, friend, I started with an OT(while replying you.)
Yup. You were right. looks are subjective and definitely grows on you. I was just saying about the practicality of this bike in the Indian market. Anyways, Just hope, it doesnt face the dazzler's fate.

Any news from about Streetfire? It is almost end of Feb! Honda might have thinking for redesign after analyzing the responses?

There will definitely be compromises for the "great indian dumpyard market". Cheaper rubber, missing switchgear...

How Honda is making 1 after 1 sad color combination ?. It is really not excepted from a company like Honda. I changed my mind from CBR150R to RTR because of sad color combination and less basic features. CB150R looks like pure commuter bike. Let see whats gonna be the price tag.
