Honda should show some seriousness in design and aesthetics not only in this 150r but also in forthcoming half litre street bikes.
Yamaha in spot in this aspect especially in FZ series and R15.

With the PGM-FI, my guess is the price tag will be around 1.15-1.2L. Then the Qn is...will some one be ready to spend that much just for the FI? Unicorn Dazzler looks better than this, they should have kept the looks same as CB1000 (like what they did for CBRs, or Yamaha did for FZs)

My point is, why can't they make it look different, as scaled down version of CB1000 maybe

I would say, it looks quite similar to dazzler. Though look is subjective, CB unicorn actually looks much better. This just looks disproportionate. You are right, a toned down CBR would have done wonders, rather than beefing up the flop styling of dazzler.

                    Dazzler Brother from another mother

The bikes looks modern and more up to date in my opinion..

Tire size can be easily altered and put some CBR150R rims and swing arms then all is set..its stock mags is the same as the current dazzler (same as p200).

Honda is getting better innovating their small engines.. Thumbs up..

Re: Breaking: Honda CB150R (Streetfire) to launch in Feb

dazzler is much compact than this bike! i don't think it is replacing it. there are set of people who like compact bikes too so i think it isn't replacing it.
also it is just me who thinks the front number plate is odd? is there any reason behind it why it is facing upwards rather than facing in the front?

Re tuned Motor will be nice if it have some juice at bottom and middle.

Design of production bike looks no better than SZ-R !
Concept bike with that orange doesn't look good. Looks like a Thai mod job.

With a better stance and appearance a slightly revamped FZ will keep this boy at bottom of sales chart.

puff 2008 p150 looks better then this , what were they thinking while designing size 0..just because they are ruling the world their crappy designs are treated as gem, they should go to a phase which Yamaha india was in before launching r15 then they'll learn their lesson....seriously 1.25lk for this (god not able to find the head banging smile)this can only compete against Yamaha sz look wise..

Because a certain Indian two wheeler manufacturer has already stolen that design?

So you buy a bike because it looks good. Not because of how it performs and how reliable it is? Interesting.
And where did you find the price tag from?

                                @OP
The 150R's DOHC engine is still manufactured in THailand and imported to India yes? Whereas its competitor is manufacturing the bike locally yes? So how exactly is the 150R overpriced? If i remember the R15 also started the same way in 2008 with the engine being manufactured outside and being imported. Then Yamaha took note of the sales figure and decided to manufacture the entire bike locally and export to Japan even but they didnt roll down on the price but instead put a 7k premium over the price tag that year.
