re: Royal Enfield Continental GT535 Cafe Racer Spotted: xBhp News
It had a thump similar to the bigger REs. The junction was huge with ample open spaces, so it's possible the sound would be louder/better on streets.Originally posted by rreneav1987 View Post

My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

I really doubt as the engine revs more and the fly wheel is lighter too.. It must be pretty continuous I guess and not distinctOriginally posted by rreneav1987 View PostHow is the beat and tone of the bike?? Same??

If what you say is correct.. then cool and I hope they cleared out all the vibration and oil leakage issues.. if they did.. they have a champion on their way

Oil leakage issue has been taken care long back with UCE Bullets itself. This oil leakage issue is the common notion people carry about Bullets since CI bullets indeed used to leak lot of oil but that was past. Though I agree vibrations are still there.Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostIf what you say is correct.. then cool and I hope they cleared out all the vibration and oil leakage issues.. if they did.. they have a champion on their way

Well strange. I have cl350 too and absolutely no oil leakage. May be a particular case or bad handling or maintenance..not sure.Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostI am not sure about that buddy..

I hope RE doesn't get rid of the the vibration issue on their bikes. An RE with a butter smooth engine? sounds too boring. Japanese are specialist in manufacturing them and we don't need our RE to be high revving, butter smooth and with plastic parts. I hope RE maintains their legacy for ever.Originally posted by gyan_recl350 View PostOil leakage issue has been taken care long back with UCE Bullets itself. Wow.. Someone is there who understands it so well and care for legacy. You echo with me friend.Originally posted by biker4life View PostI hope RE doesn't get rid of the the vibration issue on their bikes. An RE with a butter smooth engine? sounds too boring. Yes few things which I would never want RE to do:
Introduction of plastic parts
Reduction in stroke length
Drastic change in the legendary design
Reduction in fly-wheel weight
Introduction of too much technology and then few other things.
If they change all this, would it remain the RE anymore. The typical RE which we have known from ages. And would it remain and identify itself as a different class of motorcycle anymore. NO. The charm would be lost. If we want technologically superior bikes there are plenty already in the market, let them take care of that and let RE remains the RE known for as much as possible. I still wish if they continue to make CI bullets as an on demand basis along with UCE Bullets

They were in good numbers. . . . . .Originally posted by amardeep2006 View PostThis was a promotional event by RE. They might have India launch in November end at rider mania Goa.
For a moment I started thinking "Is it really ??" "Is it launched??" lol....
But one thing I din't get it, why did they designed it with a single seat ??
Still I think it's a very rare munch for people in India.
Till CLASSIC it was ok. But in GT CR, it's no option for pillion at all.
Some where an individual needs a pillion some time.
