Re: Hero Karizma ZMR 2013 unveiled at Macau: xBhp News
Ok, power figures aside, I feel these are 17 inch rims. Same tires that come with P220. I smell the possibility to upgrade to a fatter rear.
(no I'm not getting that bike)

Re: Hero Karizma ZMR 2013 unveiled at Macau: xBhp News
it not just about top speed but the way it accelerates is seriously risky for indian road and traffic conditions....delhi raods are full of people breaking signals, saving their car/bike's batteries by giving their horns and turn indicators much needed rest....Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostNot everyone will be able to afford a 390.. people even settle with xtreme/hink/pulsar 150 as they cant afford another 20000 and get a karizma/pulsar 220/200ns.. and you are talking about spending 100000 more.. wow.. awesome.. kudos..
People have budget problems and they will get whatever fits in their budget and what they feel will keep them happy..
Yeah.. 390 has got 43ps power.. but what to do with all that power.. it still cant go beyond 160.. and where in India can you ride at that speed where we have idiots all over..
I talk about 20ps power because that is more than sufficient and it fits in my budget..

I am not gonna go fot it anyways but would love to upgrade the power and spec of my zmr.. going by the new pics posted i am loving the fairing but depends on how it is in flesh which will make me decide on changing the fairing..
If at all i upgrade i will wait for a 400cc bike from hero which is probably affordable and reliable.. not to forget.. i only want the indian brands.. :-)

20 bhp is certainly good power for an old 223 cc mill. I am just stunned you were talking about 390 here.
I am just amused by some guys.. anyway, its one own choice at the end of the day

payeng, if you get goosebumps for 43 ps, why are you not buying it then? I got goosebumps for 190 ps too, not just 43 ps, but I can't afford it and it will not fulfill my needs.

Yeah.. Saw the edit..Originally posted by payeng View PostI have edited my post from "stunned" to "amused"

if we speak beyond this, its gonna go OT and out of discussion.. I don't want that to happen.. Its just personal needs and budget constraints.. in another 3 to 4 years from now.. I am sure of riding a 400+ cc bike Indian Brand (Hopefully Hero) and yes.. At the moment, I don't have money to buy a brand new bike as the chances of me getting kicked out of my house is 85% and if I get a new bike, I won't have the money to support myself
anyways.. I hope its clear why we are "AMUSED" with the 20ps power that they are offering.. since the ZMR/ZMA have proven itself the past 10 years (ZMA Engine) and the only thing we wanted was a bit more power which is what they are probably going to offer and if they do.. I would love to upgrade my ZMR engine and get it tuned from the company itself
I hope it is possible and if it is not, I am not worried as I am very much satisfied with my Black Pearl and she serves my needs with a better economy than any other 200-250cc bike can offer

Bro lets simply swap our engine aloneOriginally posted by rreneav1987 View PostWow.. if the spec figs are like what u mentioned then for sure its going to be a pulsar 220 kick ass.. even with 17ps power the zma and zmr are awesome.. imagining what the extra ~3bhp increase can do in these engines..
Is there any possible way to upgrade the current zmr to give the same output power?? Am sure its going to be possible..

each and every one out there respect you a lot as a senior biker but sometimes you use to hurt feelings of those people a lot. dont know you do it knowingly or...???Originally posted by payeng View PostI have edited my post from "stunned" to "amused"

I am a regular reader of your bike diary. Last time i noticed a post of you on your website in which you were suggesting splendor to a guy who was waiting for suzuki inazuma.(or i guess some other bike and he was praising it because of low and comfortable pillion seat height) It was seriously a disgusting reply. you should understand others needs and priorities before making such ruthless comments....
One more thing sir,
It is not feasible for everyone to go for a bike with ONE and a HALF seat....Last edited by Naveen1985; 09-30-2013, 11:36 PM.sigpic

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
The Karizma doesn't need any tweak in its engine. Its best if its left in its Original 17 bhp state of tune as gifted by Honda.
It would hardly make any difference to its sales by 2-3 bhp increment in peak power. The ones who will buy will buy it for its Karizma brand name.

Anyways, the motorcycle looks better than in earlier pics, but I am slightly surprised that we still haven't got a proper side profile pic of the ZMR.The Chronicles of Motorcycling - The Man, The Machine and The Road
