    Why do you think so? I don't see it as rational...

    If I were on Suzuki mgmt board, I would have insisted on giving 10,000/- more to current GW250 owners or no labour charges during warranty period.

    Early adopters are the most important customers to any product based company, so one need to treat them well.

      I agree. On other forums, previous buyers have reported that they would be getting refunds soon. Why is the doubt?

        at this price point, this bike now makes some sense..Hope Suzuki will maintain its fit & finish i.e won't degrade its quality now..

          Wow. 1 lakhs off, that is 30% of existing exshowroom price. This gives an idea about the margin that suzuki reeps. However, another 40K off will make this VFM.

              Suzuki only manage to sell 3 inazuma since april i think becuase of this selling or noselling of the product suzuki's management was forced to cut short there profit on the bike.

                well, it'll be great if they do. but i'll believe it when it happens.

                unless they've only managed to sell 2 bikes since they launched the Inazuma or something... then it would'nt really be much of a gesture.

                  Btw, below one claims 200 units till May 6 2014 (before price-cut):
                  IAB Report - 200 units of Suzuki Inazuma sold

                  Does that mean 3 units between 01-may-2014 and 06-may-2014 ?

                      I kept seeing this Inazuma thread topping the news section for few days now, didn't really care to check it out since I was not any bit interested in this bike. But well, a lakh cut in price, that's something not ordinary. But I'm afraid they shot themselves in the foot by marking it at that ridiculous figure of 3L when announced and now cutting down price by 1/3rd which will make people suspicious of the bike rather than taking it as a genuine price drop by the company. They will now start thinking like - ".. if it was 3L and now suddenly is 2L what's the real price of the bike, is it not even 2L considering the dealer still has a margin, is the bike having some problem.."

                      I agree this bike has good build quality being CKD and all but Suzuki goofed up big time twice- first in exterior design and second in price bracket. I feel this might get them some more sales but for all practical purposes they are done in India for now until they come out with re-branded version of this.

                            No manufacturer run business for loss for sure. Suzuki wants to sell this bike for mass market that means it should be value for money. VFM doesn't mean loss, its reducing fat margin. If they can shave 30% of the exshowroom price why not another 40K to make it a hit. Its twin cylinder and good in quality and that's why the expectation. If its single cylinder its just another fairingless ZMA. My 2 cents.

                                Suzuki Inazuma Price slashed by 1 Lakh!

                                Suzuki has decided to slash Inazuma's price by one lakh and bring it to fight with Duke 390.

                                The sweet thing is, Suzuki will be reimburse the price difference for their existing Inazuma consumers. I think this is an intelligent move by Suzuki, Inazuma is an awesome machine, I think more will be ready to pour 2.5L now to get hands to this beauty.
