Re: Suzuki Inazuma Launched at 3.1 Lakhs: xBhp News

I think 2.2 ex showroom is an excellent price of this beauty. For me, it's time to start saving

People urging for one more sporty bike will keep on cribbing, some even had the hopes that this would be priced around ZMA! Guys, please learn bit more about single cylinder vs twin cylinder, touring necessities. As iterated countless times before, also in many video reviews, there was not a single complaint about the quality, only the price. Not of all us tourers have swanky girlfriends that fit on the slimmest of seats, nor flexible waists to lean down all day on the motorcycle. If that would be the case, R15 would be our national motorcycle.

As per someone saying that none had bought it before, IIRC some 200 Inazumas were bought previously, and they will be given refund of 1L each. A good gesture shown by Suzuki. Even in past I remember reading about a dissatisfied customer of a faulty GS150R who got a full refund from the company.

Glad that Suzuki finally came to realization, and brought down the price. Isn't this the cheapest twin cylinder motorcycle in India now?

People still crucifying the bike should understand what the bike is intended for. An undersquare engine producing delicious low and mid range torque, unstressed nature as it is not being forced to produce more bhp, and unmatched ride quality sounds pretty good to me. Tourers who longed for the refinement of a multi-cylinder engined bike (that would not cost as much as the ninja 650) will rejoice.

Agree that the CBR is a potent tourer but a multi-cylinder bike lover will appreciate the Zuma anyday over the ceeber.

To put things more into perspective, why is the bonneville not crucified on its power figures? It produces a mere 67 bhp being a 865cc bike! In comparision the street triple produces some > 100 bhp although its a 675cc bike.

The analogy is the same, only the segments differ in case of the bonneville and the inazuma. Both will carry your iron-butt for days together without breaking a sweat, and without actually turning it into iron.

People say it is not possible to ride a bike at its top speed on Indian roads. Then if you really do want comfortable performance at lower speeds, why run after the CC,power figures??

But yeah, I agree to the fact that the Bonneville has that timeless classic styling to add to it's appeal. If only the Inazuma was not a fat ugly duckling and I was a hardcore tourer, I would buy it

        Suzuki Inazuma 250 price cut

Suzuki India have heard the masses and slashed the price of their 250 twin, the GW250, or as we know it, the Inazuma.
When the Inazuma launched a few months ago, the bike presented quite a strong proposition for itself, being a comfortable and able sports tourer. The inline-twin motor had a nominal output but it was rich and well-spread across the rev-range. However, the deterrent for many was the asking price of Rs 3.48 lakh. At that price, there were many who would opt for a lower-priced motorcycle which was just as capable and offered even better performance, especially when it came down to the numbers.
Suzuki Cycles India have now played their winning hand it seems and have announced that the Inazuma will cost over a lakh of rupees lower. In Pune, the price is now Rs 2.33 lakh, on the road, all inclusive. That is indeed a very sweet deal considering what the bike brings to the table.

Glad Suzuki did not close the door for all potential buyers. 3L+ made no sense at all.

OMG, that means Suzuki was earning more than a Lakh rupee on per bike, but I think its still not a hot cake, still some 30-40k can be reduce to make it perfect, but if one loves touring all the time its manageable to buy at this price range and yes fit & finish is top notch of this product....

i don't think Suzuki will return the "extra" amount to current GW250 owners.
