true....and maybe thats why the price, there is a saying in hindi--" mara hua haathi bhi sava lakh ka hota hai".translation-- even a dead elephant is worth 1.25 lakhs. so an elephant with a twin cylinder heart must be worth 3.25 lakhs.

The pricing is high but it looks to be an excellent tourer and if the pricing was little reasonable it would have found some serious buyers.
it does not matter whether a product is a CKD or made in india, what matters is- how much it costs and what it offers. period.-----3.1 lakhs ex-showroom means on-road its 3.4 lakhs approx. maybe, after an year, the company will distribute the bike in free to clear dead stock... he he ...

The bike looks too plain for for that price. Owners would expect some road presence which it simply doesn't have

it lacks power too we can buy 2 bikes in 3.4 lac(duke 390/cbr250/re continental gt + cbr150/d200/r15/re) or put 50k more and get ninja 300 all these machines looks better than this one...

Very disappointing. Uninspired styling with an uninspired price. Those two reasons means it's as good a DOA no matter how good the engineering may be.

Anuj did you mean to say this bike.. very old design.. personally I always felt this motorcycle was designed by an alien. Ugliest ! Yamaha Libero

I'd say, this is uglier than the Libero, the first Yamaha Fazer in India.

Suzuki just shot themselves in the foot with a 12 gauge. I am starting to think if they will sell even a single one of these things considering how most of us Indians will have the fear of being ridiculed for losing an extra lakh by buying this instead of the Duke390. Also the GS150R itself is quite a rare bike despite its good performance. What were they smoking?

Bro, When you get more power/features etc in less price rather than paying more price for less power, etc then I don't think TWIN Vs Single comes into picture.
Suzuki can as well produce Inazuma here as well cutting down the prices.
Pricing factor will automatically call the comparison, because inazuma is not an exceptional performer over existing CBR250.

I personally didn't like this bike, why would someone spend this much of money on this, adding to some 70-80K one can get N300 as a master piece in its class....

Preferences my dear friend.. some people prefer naked bikes over the Sports faired bikes.. There are people who prefer the Harley over the ZX14R, Busa, R1, CBRs etc.. and vice versa.. I for one will go for the Full faired N300, where as a friend I know will prefer the Naked Inazuma over the full faired N300..

some people who want a good relaxed naked twin cylinder bike might go for it..

Preference, yes. But resale value, a big NO. I remember, I and my friend had to spend days on OLX, rejecting negotiation deals, haranguing brokers and ultimately incurred a big loss while selling his six-month-old GS150R. In comparison, my Gladiator was sold within two days of putting it up for sale.

If a VFM bike like the GS150 has to suffer this fate, I can only imagine the ordeals that GW250 owners would have to face, if ever they had to sell their bikes. In comparison, a CBR250, a Ninja or even a ZMR would definitely fetch better value and demand.

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Resale wise cbr250 is better whereas ZMR and duke are poor. In fact ZMR is a rare hero bike with poor resale value.

Obviously a big NO for this naked Inzuma, how come they've tagged this bike as a practical bike?
not quiet aware of resale value Ninja 250, CBR 250 and ZMR , but certainly these bikes serves their respective purpose in every sense!

I think Suzuki launched this bike at this price so it could be used as a double for upcoming Dhoom movies. I am not able to come up with a better answer.
