    Seeing the specs we can assume that it will do at least 160kmph+ (ninja 250r does it with two cyl and 170 kilo approx) and under 8 sec to 100 with proper gearing .
    Please hero don't mess with the gearing ! And also the price.

    my class mates who were waiting for P375 are suddenly inclined to Hx250r ( those were the same people who laughed at zma upgrade).

        HMC is planning to launch these bikes only in 2015.

        “Barring RNT (the 150 cc diesel concept bike), the remaining four models, will be launched in the next year. We plan to launch 150cc Xtreme Sports bike in the first quarter, 110cc scooter Dash in the second quarter and Leap (the hybrid scooter) and 250cc sports bike in the second half of the next fiscal,” Managing Director and CEO Pawan Munjal told reporters here.

            Oops!! As I had said earlier, let the bike hit the roads before writing obituaries for other bikes.
            I respect Hindu for it's no Times of India, hence expect high levels of proofreading and editing. I just hope it's not the rare mistake in printing? Would hero show a prototype and launch it after an year? The bike looked almost road ready.

                  Exactly, it was like ready. But Hindu doesn't post stuff randomly. I hope this is a one of mistake from their side.

                  2015 !! It will make the competition even tougher for Hero. They have created a buzz by this surprise and should tap on that.

                      Guys, second quarter of next fiscal means what when you are making the statement in January? Second half of the 2014 -2015 fiscal. Expect it somewhere in Sept-Oct 2014!

                              Lets go through the link again, its clearly mentioned that all the bikes except RNT is going to be launched next year only after march 2015 and RNT is just a concept bike which is still in R & d, the final product will look different. No launch date mentioned for RNT as of now.

                                March 2015!!! Now that's a bad idea Hero. An year is long enough for Bajaj to launch 10 more pulsars . You should try for a 2014 launch.
