Splendor iSmart is not that much of a surprise. I actually thought that maybe Hero have put in an Android OS console, in the bike just because it used "Smart" in the name, but no. No big changes and all...
RNT is actually an innovation. Respects to Hero for this. I checked out its features, and I'm amazed that such a thing could be launched in India. This might be so useful to many people in their respective jobs, lives and situations. 2 years ago, we heard Hero had a Diesel bike in mind. And here it is...
HX 250r looks great, and with those high handlebars and that windscreen, there is a hint of practicality too.
Underseat exhaust is a good surprise. And 31 PS from a Hero bike?? Its almost double of ZMA!!
Its true that it won't create the same bang which CBZ and Karizma created back in the days, but nonetheless, from this day our perception of HMC will change. That's for sure. Today, it actually feels like HMC is the pride of the Indian 2 wheeler industry.
It seemed like their Indian product range was incomplete, and is now complete with this HX 250r... I guess the Honda divorce was actually a good thing to happen. What will HMC give us 2 years from now? Its now, very hard to predict indeed.
Hats off "Hero MotoCorp"..---

re: Hero HX250r revealed, with 31ps Liquid Cooled Engine: xBhp News
thanks, i was also thinking on the same lines that engine is being used as a stressed member coz swingarm is bolted to crankcase and there is no perimeter frame or double/single cradle.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View Post....The Hero HX250R uses a geodesic tubular frame with the engine being used as a stress member.

and i dont like engine being used as a stressed member. and this is one of the ways of weight reduction.
now i need to search, what is a geodesic frame.
quite true.Originally posted by Samarth 619 View Post... Today, it actually feels like HMC is the pride of the Indian 2 wheeler industry...
..
depends on the amount of "combi" factor in combi brakes.Originally posted by Raja Saiyan View PostWon't the combined brakes become troublesome while cornering?
