Dude, why are you dragging CGT into this. Just ask yourself who will buy this cafe racer? Guys who can afford bigger bikes (even by Indian standard) will feel offended by the name of Splendor. And for the commuter segment this single seat 7bhp "racer" makes no sense. I find it hard to find a customer for it. Maybe you can help.Originally posted by riazmomin View PostContribute to the environment.

I was going by term Cafe Racer and ironically CGT was only other cafe racer that is available in India.Originally posted by nirvaana View PostDude, why are you dragging CGT into this. Its not that we have grown to the looks or that the HX is looking pretty in background. The thing is that previously the photos shot was individual pieces of bikes like visor, tail light, head light, tank and all that as a result we couldn't draw the complete picture of bike and felt bad.But the above photo is a complete shot and thus we get a complete picture of bike and thus nothing else felt odd.So the complete picture makes the bike look good.Originally posted by Ajay.vinod View PostIs it me or Does the ZMR look better than last timePhoto of my joy- http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/854067-post963.html-3.88 lac km cont....Ownership review of my joy- http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/832255-post608.html- slowly updating as and when getting time. The tail light assembly looks same in the hx250 and zmr.
Anyways both are looking great from the angle.
The yawning pic was hilarious, and i guess the japs people must be thinking how can hero produce something like this without their support.
Will upload some pics when i get back from visiting AutoExpo tomorrow,of all the bikes in Hero's stable from the eyes of a AAM AADMI,and not media pics.Hero Honda Dawn-2009-2011

when i said it looks like 2015s version of the Mojo... what i was saying was that this is most garish 250cc design so far. (still better than the Mojo though)Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostYup, sure looks like 2015ish version of the Mojo.
the bike looks like it's been designed for a Robocop film set in 1987.
it literally looks like a fiberglass mod job.
anyone who truly understands automobile design won't even give this bike a second look.
there is no plural for logic. "LoL"Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostI have no idea where you guys get such logics from. LoL

credit for what man? totally substandard design?Originally posted by nadz11.ns View PostWhen a company delivers something we are not expecting, its makes people imagine things
I am no Hero fan, but this is a really good bike. Don't compare it with bikes of 20years, try to give cerdit to Hero to atleast bringing such bike to us.
a quick google search will show you how this bike is literally being laughed at left, right and center on forums outside india. (and understandably so.).

Let the foreigners trash the bike all they want. If the same had been launched by Honda, Suzuki, yamaha or ducati. It would have been welcome. And i dont agree with your 1987 story. LoL.. if thats what you are saying, please have a look at the 1987ish bikes.

re: Hero HX250r revealed, with 31ps Liquid Cooled Engine: xBhp News
It *might* be uncomfortable for the pillion over long rides. And not in the bum area, but the thighs. But then I think that it's a single cylinder and the exhaust pipe isn't very thick, the inner pipe I mean. And they would have put some good amount of insulation to prevent pillion getting over heated.Originally posted by ani2607 View PostRegarding the HX250R's exhaust:

@rreneav1987, no idea about CBR600RR, but your rear does get cooked on a R1 in B2B traffic and long rides.
Yes, they are. But I didn't get the second part of your claim. They can't stand against BAL in what? Beauty contest?Originally posted by Wild@wolverine View PostSorry to say but Hero karizma ZMR and R are the ugliest bikes in India. ....can't stand with Bajaj Bikes...

Well if you doesn't count the beauty part of bajaj bikes, in performance they are way ahead of hero's bikes in sports segment......hero should launch HX250r in market and I bet they will get great response from bike lovers

I don't understand what you mean by Beauty part.. if you are talking about beauty. I don't find the P400SS beautiful to be frank. Its extra designed.. Too much of curves.. compare it with the Energica and the R1 and you will know what I am trying to convey here. also, the looks of a bike is from a person's point of view. what I like might not appeal to someone and what someone likes won't appeal to the me.Originally posted by Wild@wolverine View PostWell if you doesn't count the beauty part of bajaj bikes, in performance they are way ahead of hero's bikes in sports segment......hero should launch HX250r in market and I bet they will get great response from bike lovers

Your post comes across as more of a frustration rather than out of some rational thinking. You say "anyone who truly understands automobile design won't even give this bike a second look." Is it really?! Then I guess most people on this planet are probably ineligible to say what is beautiful and what is not. The statement "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" isn't without a reason. I do not need to "truly" understand or study automobile design to find something beautiful. And to me, HX250R looks beautiful, thank you.
It's a straightforward sharp design with relatively comfortable ergos given the raised handle position. The wind shield is tall and shall serve good while doing triple digit speeds. Obviously, we'll know that for sure only after riding it.
On a side note, if it was in a Robocop movie, then I guess it's damn good!
