but i thought upside down tends to be more advantage even on rough road.?

Actually i was surprised to know that Ninja 300 uses double cradle frame....i thought some advanced frame like perimeter/trellis...!!!

We as customer should be least concerned about what frame they use n all that, unless there is significant lag in the performance. We all know what a great performer Ninja300 is even with these.

BTW, i saw the hero add on TV last night. Hero bikes look way better in video than in pics.

        Ride safe and have fun.

We as a customer should not be concerned, fine. But as bikers, we never cease to wonder! Like, we wonder if ninja's performance could have been much better with a different frame. Lol! No harm in wondering

Not sure about the frame, but Ninja 300 could have used a stainless steel exhaust system.

Hero HX250R to be launched in November..

The lightweight and powerful 250cc motorcycle, Hero HX250R, is all set to be launched by November 2014 in India.

Hero HX250R to launch in November

Sources close to Hero Motocorp have revealed that the company is planning to launch the much anticipated Hero HX250R latest by November this year. This lightweight and powerful quarter-litre motorcycle has been jointly developed by Hero Motocorp, America’s Eric Buell Racing (EBR), AVL (Austria) and Engines Engineering.

The new Hero HX250R will be the most powerful bike from the company’s stable, packed with a 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which will churn out 31PS of peak power and will have a torque rating of 26Nm. This will also be the first Hero to sport a six-speed transmission. Tipping the scale at just 139kg, the Hero HX250R will have an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 223PS/ton. This means this Hero will produce 6PS more than the Honda CBR250R and weigh 28kg less than the Japanese bike!
On the design front, the Hero HX250R is quite a stunner with twin-headlights, large windscreen and under seat exhaust. Adding to the look is a geodesic tubular chassis and a beautiful trellis shaped swingarm.

Though the pricing of the bike has not yet been revealed, we expect the new Hero HX250R to cost around Rs 1.50 lakh onwards.
