    Ninja 250 is 41.2 mm shorter stroke buddy.
    actually iam referring to the bore stroke ratio...i mean how much times is the bore compared to the stroke. B=x*S
    AFAIK this what should be taken into account while comparing different engine cylinder config. plz correct me if i am wrong.

      Just because it's a tube swing-arm doesn't mean it's outdated. Even in pics, see how the whole setup is made, particularly where it's connected with the rear axel. This is like a sportbike setup. Far from being outdated

          Not sarcastic at all I saw the bike up close during the auto expo and I can tell you that the swing-arm looks absolutely fantastic, it's different and radical. Far from anything like on any commuter bike.

              When did you watch it?? which channel?? I heard rumors that the launch of HX is this year end.. Oh Boy, I am so damn excited..

                            but i highly doubt that it is a longer stroke than ninja, because it has Bore and stroke 81.0mm X 48.5mm, which is shorter than Ninja 250 and much more shorter then Ninja300. this is the reason i am wondering how it generates peak value @ relatively lower rpm, though i agree it is lame to compare both the bikes.but just to get the idea of engine rev characteristics.

Thing is we have been so inundated with run of the mill Japanese designs both in the commuter segment domestically and even in the flagship litrebike segments globally that anything out of the ordinary is not acceptable to our jap trained senses. The lattice is high tech, difficult to design,pleasing to the eyes(I agree subjective), easy to live with since cleaning would be so easy also it allows better reach to the rear wheel.

                              i agreed on the technical part. but what i meant is the swing arm of Duke's. but anyhow, it has got tweaked terillis...!!
