Not saying you do Giftonsamuel, but I think many people say that they don't care about looks just to please the hardcore enthu crowd here at xbhp,
Looks are important for most people, if it were not then OEMs would simply have abolished there design departments, just keeping the RnD.
The Ferraris would simply have looked like Dezires and Lamobrghinis as Fiestas.

Also, I think we should please let the comments flow, even if they come across as a tirade.
People have every right to rant here. Even newbies do.
The good about this forum as compared to the other(predominantly car) forum is the less stringent moderation and the variety of members, coming from all age groups and places(the other forum to me has mostly veterans who know their stuff, which of course means their pages may be a better read). Of course this comes with its own set of problems like comments going astray, sms lingo, pedestrian English etc. But I think we should embrace that as a sign of our diversity and inclusiveness.
We always have the option of ignoring comments and not getting sucked into petty fights.
I was just replying to people who are against hero and comparing it with Bajaj.
Never meant to offend any body.
    Sorry.

Well i agree about the windsheild being too tall, however the side angles don't seem to give that impression and it actually might help against wind blast at high touring speeds. Hero should have named the splendour as a Cafe Commuter :P

Isn't it Splendor and not Splendour? Besides, they named it Splendor Classic and not Cafe Racer

Reminds me of a recent experience. What spec are the tires? On HX as well as ZMX bikes.

ZMX series comes with 120/80-18 in the rear. I didnt check the size up in front.. seemed to me like 90/80-18 or 90/90-18..

HX series comes with 140/80-17 in the rear and front again, I didn't notice its the rear tire that I was more interested in

Wasn't too happy with the Karizma-R. It looked blunt and unfinished. as if the Fairing is hanging and nothing is there to hold it. The ZMR made a little more sense, but from some angles, it was awkward..

Grrrr.. the quality of the pics I have uploaded are bad. I don't have the quality pics on my mobile.. downloaded them from FB which has already reduced the quality

I guess, yes its 110/90-18. Once the bike is out and about 4-6 months old, tires should be available. But finding tires in India isn't easy. My friends are finding sourcing R15 V2's rear tire difficult in Kolkata.

Maybe I am mistaken, but the angle of mono suspension looks too acute for good damping.
