I feel Hero's gonna rock this season with all the fancy stuff.
The thing is, unlike us people here on Xbhp who want their rides to be a fuel drinking monster, there are people who want something fancy in a commuter : guess Splendor cafe wala model (cant call it "racer" *bleh*) would be for them! But a single seater is never gonna work though.
Also, are those off road tyres on the passion pro in the previous page's pic!? Well, a off-road commuter huh!

It's a lot like nuts and bolts - if the rider's nuts, the ride - bolts!

But I think it will serve it purpose saying this because I dropped my bike in downhill at slow speed and end up damaging fairing and lights .
If this kind of accessory is provided with all their bikes in their stable I would opt for it.
At least to bully those cabs in the traffic!!!
Should be a bolt on one and easily removable stuff

doesn't the HX250R look like a conventional Jap bike from about 20 years ago?

looks gawdy if you ask me. way too chunky for a small bike.

i find it hard to believe eric buel had a hand in this design.
must have outsourced the project to an armchair engineer somewhere. :-/

Looks like this is going to be 2015s version of the Mojo.

I am no Hero fan, but this is a really good bike. Don't compare it with bikes of 20years, try to give cerdit to Hero to atleast bringing such bike to us.

                Ride safe and have fun.

this is actually a decently thought out product. there are many places outside urban India that require cheap commuters in almost off-road like conditions.

the cafe whatever OTOH is a pure brain f@rt.

The Hx 250r and hastur are the best display at the auto expo from Hero. Hope both of them hit the roads soon.. But ohhh my God!!! what was that cafe racer and Thar version of passion? seriously didnt expect such a joke from India's largest two wheeler company.
Cafe racers are supposed to be lighter and faster than the normal version with enhancements like rearset footpegs and aggressive handlebar position & more powerful engine.
Atleast the enfield GT has lost significant weight and is the lightest enfield so far with alluminium rims, bigger engine and other modifications which help it go faster, what is the customised bit in this? Hope they are not trolling us.
                        Fun Starts at Redline!!!

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!
