          Hats off to Hero for the kind of display...talk about hitting the competition hard. Just the photos and specs are good enough to put a stop to a lot of new entrants at Auto Expo this year.

          With Bajaj ready to release its first fully faired bike, Hero with the HX, where is TVS? Can we see the locals making it tougher for others?

          Competition improves the breed...and benefits the consumer.

              This is one hell of a surprise from Hero Moto Corp! It looks neat, very fresh for a 250 CC, just in the moment when Honda decided not to launch the 300 CC CBR with twin headlight in India, Hero have an answer for it.

              The thing that I liked the most is, they did not go for spy pics saga. They launched 2 of the 'ugliest' designs in the name of ZMA and ZMR, letting everyone curse them and Hero personnel have a grin their faces. They must be thinking wait till you see what we have in our bag for you all. Absolutely flabbergasted! Way to go!

              BTW this is coming from an ardent Yamaha fan.

                Wait Wait, I thought 139KG is dry,but noooo I was very wrong. 139kg kerb for a 250cc faired, OMG!!!

                This Bike have Power-To-Weight ratio of 223ps/tonne, This is INSANE for a fully faired 250CC bike. Kudos to HERO!!

                Also say Good-bye to skinny old 100/80 tyres.

                    Great updates by Hero! The previously displayed ZMA was really a clever trick. In its light, this new HX250R looks leaps and bounds ahead.

                    I feel Hero should have launched a 125cc scooter first, then this hybrid of electric and petrol. There are no Honda/Hero scooters of 125cc, and it would do good for them to get a foothold in that segment.

                      No matter what the haters say..Hero(hero honda) has always been pioneers of breaking the mould in indian motorcycling..

                      The CD100 (first popular four stroke in india)
                      CBZ (first popular 150 cc with sporty styling)
                      Street(first indian step thru)
                      Impulse(first mass-centric indian off-road style bike)

                      and now the HX250R (first indian bike with underseat exhaust)

                      P.S : I am speaking from a layman's perspective..there might be other bikes that would fit the above description but these were the ones to catch the indian public's attention with their 'different' features!

                              ohhh.. ok. Actually I am a Hero skeptic and there is only one bike that I liked from their stable - Karizma. HX250r is the only one after that bike which has grabbed my attention.
