    New performance bike called HX250R, which produces 31 BHP of power at 9000 RPM and reaches from 0-60 km/hr in just 2.7 seconds. It features a 4-valve 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine and an under seat exhaust. The bike uses Pirelli Sport Demon tyres.

              Hero Has taken of the Rabbit out of nowhere before auto expo.

              This will be not good for Bajaj 200/375 SS launch as will have bigger expectation then this.

                YES YES YESSSSSSSSSSSS, Hero did it. . . They are awesome. . . Love to see the bike. . . Now we all have that confidence that Hero will maintain their leadership in our Indian market in the future too . . .

                A proper pricing for this 250cc beast and am rushing . . .

                    Front view....

                    The 249cc, single-cylinder engine uses liquid-cooling and fuel-injection to produce 31 BHP of power (81.0 mm x 48.5 mm is bore x stroke). It is coupled to a 6-speed transmission.

                    The Hero HX250R uses telescopic forks at the front and a 5-step adjustable monoshock with shim valve damping at the rear. The front uses a three piston calliper with 300 mm disc while the rear uses a 200 mm disc. There is combined braking system with optional ABS. The front uses 110/80/17 tyre while the rear uses a 140/70/17 tyre (Pirelli Sport Demon make). The bike gets LED lights at the front and rear. The length, width and height of the Hero HX250R is 2085 mm, 735 mm and 1145 mm respectively. The wheelbase is 1370 mm while the ground clearance is 145 mm.

                    The Hero HX250R uses a geodesic tubular frame with the engine being used as a stress member. The front forks are 37 mm in size

                      cylinder config is 81.0 mm x 48.5 mm, and power at 9000rpm.. i really hope it doesn't lack low end torque. I hope it has adequate..

                          And.... Hero seems to be the phoenix rising from the ashes. With a good pricing on the HX, hero sure has a winner

                          With ample GC and Right amount of power seems like HX is all set to be the new benchmark for the quarter liter sports tourers.

                            Let me join in the excitement.. Damn.. What a surprise Hero.. Now this is how do it and hit back. So far, the new 250cc appears to have no compromise on specs given the single cyl 250cc. This is fantastic and I am feeling proud. Seems to be a very good result of Hero-EBR partnership. Now this shall shut up the haters irrespective of the price!
