no way it will be 196 even on the speedo unless it's got a huge percentage of error.

yes when i said "unless it's got a huge percentage of error" it means i did consider the possibility of a huge percentage error. :-)Originally posted by Ron Syl View Postit can be. thats why its called error.

dont know that...dyno tests are ideal experiments. sure it can perhaps go to 196 on the dyno...but i hope you dont expect it to do that in real life, meaning on roads. :-)Originally posted by JitenMistry View PostWhy you think so? what will be top speed of R25 on Dyno Test??Last edited by aditya_YZF-R15; 06-25-2014, 05:27 PM.

jiten was telling only about the dyno, it looked that he knows it wont do so much in real conditions
he used the word "but"

Re: Yamaha R25 Launched in Indonesia
discussed just a page back. what you see is the test on dyno and the speedo indicated speed. no resistance of what so ever.Originally posted by nadz11.ns View PostCan this be true ? Maybe not, how much error can there be or how much mods can be done. If its true (i do hope so) then i am on sale

I hope most here understand that when Japs price their products their brand value itself adds an amount..
I totally agree with both your first and second points.
The R25 will probably be Ninja 300 expensive.
And as for the torque thingy, I agree with that too.
That is why I'm still deciding between a used Ninja 250R and the upcoming Mojo.Last edited by HyperRetard; 06-26-2014, 10:46 PM.

Re: Yamaha R25 Launched in Indonesia
"YZF R25 has equipped rubber mount or engine mounting that is equipped with rubber to dampen vibrations"
Engine mounting position is on the front or the closest to the steering wheel, the goal that the vibration does not reach the hands of the rider," said M. Abidin, GM Technical Service & Motorsport PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM).
In total there are four engine mounting on the Yamaha YZF-R25, but only one is fitted with a rubber mount. As a result, it is considered minimal vibration in the steering area. Motorists were able to be more comfortable without having tingling in hands area.
When asked about deltabox over diamond-type frame
the level of rigidity (stiffness) tubular chassis that is still less than deltabox, he argued that the problem was already solved properly by Yamaha engineers.
"We have already prepared. For the chassis are built to absorb twisting force (twist) bigger, but the chassis angle (bend) made ??smaller. So in addition to the size of a compact, but also provide a sporty driving feeling like R-Series family, "said Abidin.

No wonder it is strong rumor that Kawasaki is to be developing a 4-cylinder engine in the next Ninja250
