I'm a potiential buyer of R25 too and I think we already listed out some basic differences between the RC and R25, with RC having upper hand on ABS, torquey, lighter, cheaper, better trellis frame. Why do you think the RC is such an inferior product I have no idea. Both the bikes are really good in what they are designed to do and lets respect that.
You are bringing the N300 to the comparo too? The Ninja 300 easily betters the R25 from the initial reviews at 0-60, 0-100, top speed etc.
If the pricing is crosses 3 lakhs then definitely i'm dropping out. I want a Yammie but not at any cost they dish out at.

i didnt say RC being inferior in that post. my question was to legend racer on his post.

FYI if we are not getting ninja300 in this then why get the RC390? just because its gonna be cheaper?

That would be a mistake. Never ever drop a Yamaha from your list if it falls in the price band you are shopping. It may look down on paper but real world experience may just blow you away.

0-100, top speed is just academic. How it achieves those numbers is what makes or breaks your day....Sorry to interrupt.

I second your thought completely. Yamaha provides a different real life experience. And anyone who knows about it can vouch for it.

That's precisely why many people, me included, are prepared to wait for six more months and shell out more $ (relative to the competition) for the R25. I want a hassle free bike on which I can tour without getting bored on long highways. I'm expecting the R25 to be just that kind of bike.

The bonding of a rider with Yamaha motorcycles is totally different, the bike becomes part of you somehow which i don't think any other brand can do (leave RE), that's why the slogan of Yamaha "touching you heart" feels absolutely correct, i think R25 will take that bonding to another level as riders are waiting for this bike.

You are fan of HONDA not Hero, Hero Honda (Now only Hero) bike used 99% technology from Honda (except sticker job).

When people say he love Hero motorcycle over Bajaj or TVS, I feel sad when they don't know till now HERO doesn't invest penny Rs. on R&D or self made tech. in compare Bajaj and TVS started with their company with help of Japanese co, and they did R&D at own center and made bikes for US.

Sorry, If I hurt you but if some one blindly praise Hero, I can't stop myself.

I never said i am a hero fan. I have used Hero products.. and i never said anything against bajaj or TVS and i dont know why you are bringing in a brand war here.. i am a fan of good product. Be it Hero, Honda, Bajaj, TVS or any other Big Player.. i value their products.. but i prefer an Indian Player over the Japanese Players...

Honda never let Hero start their own RnD

                        Interesting,
Is there any bike/scooter or any steed for that matter coming out of Hero's stables now which is at least 50% Hero original.

I don't see any need of correcting my statement i will stand by it, and you just cannot compare cd100 or splendor with yamaha, hero has just started to become as an motorcycle company first they were taking help from honda and now they have catch Eric buell for there product development hero is no1 in selling motorcycles in world but see what products have made them no.1 it's the puny size 100cc motor, and efen this engine was developed by Honda in the late 60s

Its "Revvs your heart". you my friend have given chance to different topic.

Motorcycles are motorcycles. remove "brand tags" and they are pure motorcycles. just like remove the "race" tag on humans and they are just humans (ok that might be a awkward example)

Hey chill, and i think you over reacted and mistook his enthu towards a brand into something else. you on the other hand spoke about more brands and rreneav spoke that way.

Lets stick to R25 discussion for now.

                                Serious OT....
Don't react like that brother. To each, his own...
Infact I, a current RTR and Honda owner, swear by the feel of a Yamaha... I had owned a Yam Gladi for 1.5 years only and a friend's RX 135 for 1 year.... But the feel it had, I always have difficulty bonding to any other bike. My CBR is practical to the core, easy maintenance bike. but that's it. Its a NO FUN bike. Though my RTR comes to rescue here, but its still not upto Yamaha in feel. Yamaha is not for master tourers like you mate. its for hard core enthusiasts looking for fun. Yes, I agree its not as reliable as a Hero/Honda. Sad, my girl is uncomfortable on R15. Hence I wont be getting the R25 for my self. But that's the compromise I have to make. Ask me, which is the best bike on Indian roads(except D390 ofcourse), I will always say R15.
This is called "connection" towards Yamaha, even though you are not a loyal costumer...
