Many congrats on the booking!! Please forgive me for the questions I will be firing now 1) Does the bike come equipped with ABS? 2) Did you test ride it? Did you also test ride the D390 in comparison? How different do they feel in the power delivery?3) Did you consider the to be launched Benelli 600i? in case it is priced similarly..4) Which is the most rev happy bike among these? if Anyone else has info on this, please feel free to educate me on the above points!

I apologize if these have already been answered, if so please guide me to the right post!

      1. no it doesnt have abs.
      2. Kawa doesnt allow test ride for now. Yes i have rode duke. the bike is too hard for me and the rc is a total no no as i am not comfortable with the racing position. Duke was not even a consideration as the two manufactures are for two different types of riders. kawa is more refined and the bikes are known to multitask ie tour and race. while duke is street and not for tour and rc is for racing and not much for touring thanks to the hard suspension and the seats.
      3. Yeah i considered but i needed an established after sales portfolio which i am sorry to say but benelli isnt.
      4. i guess point 2 answers this question.

This is IMO. SO please consider that before tearing me apart.

I guess it will be you who will be tearing part the misconceptions we have of this bike, looks great as a naked and should no doubt blaze the roads.

Is it a tourer sans the fairing or perform as good as a naked on the roads? Foreign reviews won't help because this country is different.

By the first impressions when I sat it does feel similar as I currently have a fz which I use comfortably for touring.. So for me it's just an upgrade on power and speed. Indian roads will surely test the suspension to its limits as be default it has a slightly soft suspension compared to other supersports.

ER6-N is priced bang on, though 250 is costly. It should have came for 2.75l on road. Anyways as everyone said, Kawasaki is for big pocket people, though the truth is if you do regular servicing and give proper care, it will outlast our own lives. But an advice for a prospective buyer is " u should be capable enough of sourcing parts and doing basic services" my Ninja is 4 1/2 years old and still give me enough wide grins & goosebumps.

^^exactly, it's like asking for trouble if you rely on Bajaj to take care of everything on your bike. I've been tempted to change my 2012 ninja many times, but that feeling isn't there after I've ridden by bike again. You have to arrange alternatives and keep sources handy for maintenance of the Kawasakis, especially since the parts are not manufactured and readily available.
Personally, I don't mind getting my hands dirty and manage the servicing on my own, for other parts I've been lucky to get in touch with some very good people for assistance.
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

One z250 has been sold in ktm banashakari. Don't know if it has been delivered though. But it wasn't on the display, when I enquired the manager said it was sold.
