When I am in the market for a premium bike it is engine, gearbox, dynamics, looks and finally sound. It is exactly in that order. Sound is not a deal breaker atleast for me. Jyada problem hai to I can pick up a slip on any day.

Your ranking is very logical. I agree, although for me, sound are before looks, but the rest of the order, totally agree. (Bike Tampering being the main reason/ fear I don't want it to look too damn good.)

I mean, who doesn't want to just walk to the bike, and switch on some real throttle music?

Slip ons are good, if the cops and dogs spare you, (talking from practical experience of my Pulsar 208+RC Exhaust).

Though, I'm still waiting to see & feel the Z250. Its coming to Ajmer soon.

Race Concept exhausts are probably the loudest hence your view point. I used that on my 230 and also Leo Vince full system with db killer on my R15. With LV experience was good. Even with the DB killer performance was better and sound was just very good. Hence I would go for a Akra or a LV for these kind of bikes. Cops wud infact be happy to hear you revv

these bikes are coming as CKD or will be assembled in india. coming as CKD from where these will be imported.

CKD (completely knock down units) or assemble in india is one and the same thing. i assume you meant CBU instead of CKD.
most probably it will be thai factories. not sure though of the source location.

CBUs are from the Kawasaki Heavy industries in Japan, CKDs are from Thai. Don't know why..that how they work

Since the time I test rode Kawasaki(s) mighty SBKs, I have become a fan of their mission/vision w.r.t. the Indian market. We may have thousands of reasons to argue on these releases but mind it - the takers aren't part of this discussion and Kawasaki is well aware of this fact. Personally, I am happy to see worthy releases by the respectable manufacturers as I will have enough choices to upgrade in future, once the Mr. Money is stable in my pockets.

As of for Chennai, bikes would reach by next week end or beginning of nov 2nd week.

I see everyone discussing pricing in every new launch thread(too much discussions)
my view is that every company has a brand value and a class of buyers which depends how fat and deep the pocket is.
People who can afford will buy and others would just crib over prices.I dont think so kawasaki would lower prices.If they are cheap it would be boring to see a Kawasaki everywhere like bajaj pulsars
its better they are exclusive
just my views :-)

I saw it up close today and realised its nothing more than a ninja650 minus the fairing. Seriously nothing has changed whatsoever save the fairing which is missing. Everything is same on this bike to the point that one can swap its parts with a ninja650.
Its not bad, Just disappointing.

mmmm well what to say... I like this naked version. That semi-faired used to be a bit of ugly for me.... but yeah all have their own taste ... so kindly do not mind riders who own them.

I'm not saying its bad or anything man. In fact I like this look too. I only wish there was a little bit of change from before other than the fairing I mean. My brother has a ninja650.
