The on road is about 6lakhs as opposed to the 6.4lakhs for n650 in Hyderabad. The bike is basically just n650 without the fairing and with slightly shorter handlebars so price is almost the same.

Err that's not completely right. I got my 2014 Ninja 650 for 5.92 inclusive all charges and zero dep insurance.. I got my bike in July.

I have Telangana registration. But if you were told that by showroom then maybe some things have changed.

I don't know why they told me what they told me.

But this is what they told me and that partially is the reason behind me not going for the N650. Maybe they were trying to sell me only the Duke to make a sale for KTM? who knows

yeh, the n650 is 5.9l (maybe lower, but definitely in the 5L range because i had assumed it was a 7L bike and was surprised on hearing the number 5) in hyd - i asked them (just to massage my ego

while waiting for a test ride on the duke) while i was getting ready to up my duke last month.
that's just when the other two models were launched and the dealer was showing me the email he received. i remember seeing the on road prices for the er-6n and z250 too but do not remember it. you see, its better for me to forget such things which i dont think i will be owning anytime soon.

The booking is open. I was the fourth one at bangalore today.. 5.63l orp for er6n only black available..

it is not clear from where these bikes will come to india or will be assembled in india itself.

They are ckds.. Brought in from Thailand and assembled in India..

They delaying the delivery of the er6n saying rto permission is being delayed etc. Check my ownership thread. On top of that found that the homologation they talking about is given before launch of the bikes. So don't know what keeps them from delivering them.

Its from the Thailand and Singapore plants and not from KHI. I was told this at the dealership today when I asked. Only imports are from KHI. All others that are govt approved for assembly and sale in India are CKD not CBU.

thanks to all, i think nobody has purchased this bike z250, nobody has seen any tag. at some places bikes have reached but nobody has seen them. if they are coming from japan, the price may be justified.coming from any other country price seems to be on higher side of z250 bike.
