Kawasaki's small bikes were never a vfm. Kawasaki places itself in the premium category, rightly so. You can get D390 for almost half the price but after seeing the conditions of a 1 month old bike I won't put my money into it. No doubt D390 rides well but it cannot match the reliability that Kawa will give or for that matter a Honda or Yamaha will.

N300 will get a apt competition when the R3/R25 lands here(if it does). The pricey nature of Kawa is the reason any wanabe doesn't picks it up since he can't afford it.

That's my thought and opinion though. People may differ.

No, I am not a Kawasaki Fan boy.. I am a fan of Indian Manufacturers.. But given a choice to select only from KTM or Kawasaki, it would be the N300.. the quality of the bike is miles ahead of RC.. the looks are way superior.. the twin cylinder will always be my choice over the single cylinder and its capabilities to do touring and at times tracks..

Ninja is a class of its own.. not that RC isn't but it is that single cylinder that will stop me from going for it..

This is not to offend anyone. All this is purely my opinion..

Glad to see such mature views finally after the initial phase of Z250 bashing.

A few comparisons of the Kawasaki Z 250 vs some of the other bikes in the quarter litre category.

Anyone give me me 1 reason why I should not add 39K and go for the ninja 300 if I want to spend that much.

Exactly, your getting a bike with more power and fairings for 40 k.
No idea what the idea behind the pricing is

In Navi Mumbai Ninja 300 onroad is 4 lacs. Z250 is 3.2. Thats 80k difference, which isnt exactly small difference. Remember Kawasaki increased the price a few weeks back? If you are in a position to buy z250 and difference in your area is what you say, go for the Ninja man. Even when I bought ninja 4 months back it was 3.83 on-road. Even based on that price difference is a whopping 60k. Please correct me if the maths is wrong.

                  The Ninja 250R was launched at ~2.7 - 2.8 L ex-showroom if I remember correctly

That makes the Z250 the first naked that's more expensive than its faired counterpart.

That is definitely retarded pricing right there

If priced just a little lower this bike can be a market killer for other brands and loving the naked street fighter looks of z250. Yumm 😋

Ninja 250 last retailed at 3.3 on-road in Navi Mumbai. Forex change, inflation if you consider all that price is same. Bikes like these are for people with deep pockets who have worked hard/smart to enjoy the life. They wont complain and Kawasaki is happy.

Just saw a video in You-tube where Powerdrift was there during the launch of these 2 bikes. At the end, Kawasaki MD quotes, that another model is to hit the Indian roads by this year end...any clues...which one would that be ??

In all likelihood, the Ninja SL250.

its a good bike but over priced still a better competition for duke 390.

Shudnt we be happy that now in India we have bikes from 40grands to 40lacs. This is what we wanted right. Nobody could imagine this 5yrs back. I am happy to see ER6n n 250naked. I have choice now. And yes the Kwaks are known for their quality n durability. And i would be glad to ride them or either one of them. The comparison will always be there irrespective of the quality factor n its good. As tat will improve the quality and the service of these machines. I am just happy to see them here on Indian roads.
