Technically none of the performance parts are street legal.Originally posted by anilupadhya View PostOk,, But Harley offers the screaming Eagle for the Street 750. Also during homologation they test using the company exhaust. The screaming eagle installed after, is it illegal?
As explained early only way to get it done is apply for modification at RTO, get it verified by RTO and endorse it on records. RTO would go with feel of the eye, ear in verifying the modification rather than decibel levels and most likely NOT approve it for road use.rally drivers do it sideways

Man so many intelligent people. Why KTM is not selling it in India? Because Akrapovik exhaust costs 85,000 and KTM thinks that it's extremely overpriced for a bike like Duke 200 to RC390. Got it? I have talked to KTM top brass, that is the reason. Don't invent facts. and the laws are not stricter. By Motor vehicles act there are no clear regulations. Some local police may make some local law, there is no official law to stop you. Only the bike has to pass pollution test.

It would have cleared Indian tests easily. Only thing was, thanks to lower quality fuel they tweaked with the bike, to make it lower compression, now they are making a forced mod upgrade, to make this lower compression ratio bike, back to 106 PS. I think I have made myself clear.Originally posted by jaggu View PostThe same EU spec has 106 tune Street Triple also perfectly road legal, but that did not clear the indian CMVR.

Why would they want to lower compression? 91 Ron is what its tested and rated in EU and 91 Ron is what we have in India. And majority of the cities we do have good quality fuel. Please understand how the detune was achieved before things like compression figures are quoted. No manufacturer would make such a big change (compression ratio) when the results can be achieved with under 100$.Originally posted by Rahul Mazumder View PostIt would have cleared Indian tests easily. I respect your contacts brother, but all motor bikes have a 80 db limit in India.Originally posted by Rahul Mazumder View PostDon't invent facts. and the laws are not stricter. A simple Google search would have helped you. So many people can't be wrong about Indian regulations.

Its best to sell the bike and take the money back peace of mind.
Our Authorities will ignore the illegalities today but after a few months or years they will wake up and say its illegal and vehicle confiscated.
And its mentioned in the link above about the decibel limits unfortunately Rules and Laws are not obeyed to the word in INDIA

Re: All Triumph Motorcycles Sold in India are Detuned .. ?
Guys, there is still a petition against Triumph active... A stall issue is causing worry among Triumph owners. One owner claims his Triple stalled at 100 kmph, and he got saved by a quick clutch lever press.
Please check this petition: https://www.change.org/p/triumph-mot...ple-motorcycle
6 days ago, on 12th January 2016, they claim Triumph contacted us saying that they have sent a legal notice to change.org against the petition, because its causing their brand "defamation". And according to petitioners, Triumph claims that owners didn't go through the proper customer complaint channel..
The 12 Jan update is here: https://www.change.org/p/triumph-mot...cle/u/14936678
Guys, do any of you face this stall issue on your Triumph motorcycles?---

I guess it's pretty much known issue on most Triumph bikes from the launch.Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostGuys, do any of you face this stall issue on your Triumph motorcycles?
I don't understand why owners are raising it to Triumph after 2 years , why not from beginning ?
