Yes 2nd half 2018. Along with an expansion in the dealer network. Whatever activities they conduct abroad will also be done here to improve customer interaction. For example, BMW Motorrad Day, GS competition etc

My friend has tried GS310 in UK. He said it comes with three seat height options. The one on which he sat was too tall for him. 5.8 height. He said it reminded him of Triumph Tiger.
I hope the lower seat option will be best suited for India. Looks tempting.

Good news because BMW Motorrad showrooms are opening in one month's time. G310 being a volume product, they will easily settle down in six months time to cater the demands better.

But they wouldn't want to do that. The market for entry level naked bikes in India is huge!

They'll sell more units here in a month than they'll export to all the countries combined

                  Hey fellas,

I just got a call from my BMW dealer that they are accepting 50K as the advance token money for the G310 twins. He further said since we are taking money without even showing the bikes, token money is completely refundable and we would be provided with written contract for the same. He already had the exact dates for the launch but he said he could not share the dates because of internal confidentiality. I told him that my birthday falls on 22nd July and I intent to pick either G310r or 390 Duke on my birthday to which he said it will DEFINATELY be available provided if I prebook it with token amount. Since I was too keen on knowing the launch dates, he gave me a slight hint that its around 15th July

Further more, I asked him about service interval and service costs to which he said he would know about it on 25th June as that is when dealer training starts in Gurgaon.

I heard a rumor that they will launch in first week of July.
The bikes will be showcased in end of June and sale starts in July first week.

It seems not a lot of people are interested in Street bike 310.
But a lot of people are expecting a good GS 310.
A lot of superbikers are waiting to get their hands on one.

There are a few good street bike available but not one that's more suited for off the rosd stuff. Kawasaki one simply too pricey.
